摘要： Provided are an excellent vehicle-mounted camera to be used by being attached to a windshield or the like of a vehicle, a vehicle-mounted camera apparatus, and a method of supporting a vehicle-mounted camera. The vehicle-mounted camera includes a substrate, an image pickup element mounted on the substrate, an image processing circuit that is mounted on the substrate and processes a captured image by the image pickup element, a light collection optical unit that collects incident light, and a reflection unit that reflects output light from the light collection optical unit to the image pickup element. The vehicle-mounted camera further includes a casing that accommodates the substrate on which at least the image pickup element and the image processing circuit are mounted, the light collection optical unit, and the reflection unit.

Accordingly, it is possible to reduce noise generated in an image in which crosstalk is removed.

The ratio of telephoto to wide angle ratios is at least 3 to 1, but is typically higher so that the cameras can be used in conjunction with binoculars to take telephoto pictures that give the same visual appearance as when the same scenes are observed through binoculars. Compactness and increased focal length are achieved via four mirror arrangements one preferred embodiment of which wraps around the camera film plane and uses a single constant angular velocity shutter for providing both wide angle and telephoto exposure times. Compact, single-use, medium telephoto cameras are also disclosed.

摘要： Photographic film including a flexible substrate sheet divided on one side into a multiplicity of different picture areas provided with respective layers of photosensitive chemical material having a plurality of different photosensitivities. Thus, each sheet or strip of film is essentially multiple ASA film. Such a film strip is provided with detectible code on a substrate sheet for encoding the photosensitivities of the different picture areas in a readable format. A camera utilizing the film is provided with a magnetic reader for determining film speeds or photosensitivities of the different picture areas on the film. A film transport mechanism is controlled by a microprocessor to move an unexposed picture area of an appropriate ASA to an exposure zone of the camera, either in response to a manually selected ASA or an automatic determination of optimal film speed in accordance with lighting conditions as detected by a light sensor, subject distance, etc. The microprocessor includes a memory for storing in encoded form which picture areas of the film have been exposed.
