    • A pump for pumping a medium from a suction side to a pressure side includes a filter arrangement. The filter arrangement includes an inflow path, a first outflow path, and a second outflow path. A hydrophobic membrane filter is arranged between the inflow path and the first outflow path. A hydrophilic membrane filter is arranged between the inflow path and the second outflow path. At least one section of the hydrophobic membrane filter and one section of the hydrophilic membrane filter are located opposite each other at a distance of no more than 1 mm so that a gas bubble that moves along with a medium flowing in the inflow path comes into contact with the hydrophobic membrane filter during the movement. The first and second outflow paths of the filter arrangement are connected to the suction side of the pump.

    • A medicament dosing system comprises a replaceable unit and a permanent unit. The replaceable unit comprises a fluid reservoir for receiving therein a pressurizable liquid medicament, a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of said liquid medicament, a fluid channel which is provided with a flow resistor and which is in flow communication with the fluid reservoir, and a hose means which is connected to the fluid channel. The permanent unit comprises a squeezing valve means for squeezing the hose means together, and a control means which is coupled to the temperature sensor and the squeezing valve means so as to control a flow rate of the liquid medicament by clocked actuation of said squeezing valve means depending on the temperature detected. Alternatively, the temperatur sensor can be arranged in the permanent unit.

    • A device for mounting an integrated circuit with two rows of terminal pins to a circuit board comprises a pair of stationary knives and a pair of movable knives, each stationary knife overlying the respective movable knife on opposite sides of a stationary anvil member. Each cutting tab is connected to a respective strain gauge strip in turn electrically connected to a processing or monitoring circuit by means of a multiplicity of leads. The monitoring circuit detects the electrical resistances of the strain gauge strips and thereby determines whether the corresponding cutting tab has been loaded or engaged by a terminal pin during a bending and severing operation. The monitoring circuit includes a microprocessor and a display.

    • In a device which can be used as a hammer drill or a chipping hammer, a percussion mechanism is located within a working cylinder in the housing of the device. A tool can be placed in one end of the working cylinder and the tool can be rotated without any percussive action or it can be given a combined rotative and percussive action. The percussive action is transmitted over a driving mechanism to an actuating piston which reciprocates a percussion piston through an intermediate air cushion. The drive mechanism includes a driving shaft with a disk pivotally connected to the shaft and in engagement with the actuating piston for selectively effecting the percussive action on the tool.

    • An expansion dowel assembly includes a sleeve, a tie rod insertable into the sleeve, an expanding body connected to one end of the tie rod and an end support on its other end. A member is connected to the end support for transmitting torque to it and by virtue of the torque applied to the end support the expanding body is drawn into the sleeve causing it to expand. Shear pins connect the member to the end support and when a predetermined torque is reached the pins shear off and the member can be removed from the end support. The shear pins can be arranged either parallel or perpendicular to the axis of the tie rod.
