摘要： A buckle including a buckle release system for releasing a parachute canopy from a harness. The buckle comprises a lock lever, a manual release lever, a spring biased catch, and a latch positioned in a frame. A slide member is provided. The slide member operates to hold the latch in the locked position, and prevents a buckling member from being released from the buckle when the buckle is in a locked position. In the open position, a spring moves the slide and the buckling member out of the frame, thereby releasing the buckling member from the buckle.

摘要： A tongue forming part of a safety belt is provided with two apertures adapted to receive the safety belt. The tongue has a portion adapted to be received and retained by a buckle forming part of a safety belt system. The tongue carries a clamping element adapted to be moved, by pressure applied to the clamping by the safety belt, to a clamping position in which the clamping element clamps part of a safety belt locking means are provided movable between a locking position and a release position. When the locking means are in the locking position the clamping element is prevented from moving to the clamping position. However, when the locking means are in the release position the clamping element may move to the clamping position.

摘要： A buckle device of the type into which a tongue plate is inserted and engaged therewith. The buckle device is equipped with a lever member having a first and a second end as well as a middle section. The first end of the lever member is engaged with a locking member, which is to be engaged with the inserted tongue plate to prevent it from being extracted from the buckle device. When the second end of the lever member is depressed, the lever member is displaced, using its middle section as the fulcrum, to release the engagement between the buckle device and the tongue plate. This lever member is equipped with a displacement section for displacing the fulcrum from the side of the first end to that of the second end when the second end is depressed. Thus, when the second end is depressed, the fulcrum of the lever member is displaced toward the second end, thereby gradually diminishing the lever ratio of the lever member.

摘要： A safety belt buckle has a slider having first and also second parts each adapted to engage and retain a locking member in a locking condition in which it engages a tongue inserted in the buckle. The slider is spring biassed to a position in which one part engages and retains the locking member and is movable against the spring bias to a second position to permit the locking member to move to release the tongue. The arrangement is such that if the buckle is subjected to a severe force, which moves the slider against the spring bias, the slider moves to a third position in which the second part engages and retains the locking member in the locking position.

摘要： A vehicle seat belt buckle has a flat tongue part with latching edges, and a socket part with spaced parallel plates defining a socket within which the tongue can be received. A latch member slides at right angles to the plane of the tongue to engage the latch formations to retain the tongue within the socket, the movement being imparted by latch member portions received in grooves of a push botton slidably guided for manual movement in the direction of insertion of the tongue. A spring urged detent retains the push button and thus the latch member in the release positions and is itself released by a portion of an ejector device when this is moved inwardly in the socket on insertion of the tongue. In a modification a spring biassed ejector prevents return of the latch member to its latching position after release of the tongue. Instead, an anti-latching member outside the socket can prevent return of the latch member and be withdrawn from engagement with the latch member by an ejector when the tongue is inserted after some initial ejector movement.
