摘要： A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 for an optical data recording medium D1 from which a signal with a mark length shorter than the resolution limit of an optical system of a reproducing device is capable of being reproduced by reproduction light emitted during reproducing, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 having an adhesive transparent resin layer 11 to be disposed on an data recording layer 3 of the optical data recording medium D1, the transparent resin layer 11 having a (meth)acrylate copolymer containing no acidic group as a main component, the transparent resin layer 11 having a storage elastic modulus at 23° C. of 1.5×105 Pa or less and a gel fraction of 68 wt % or more. The transparent resin layer 11 of this pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 for an optical data recording medium can be used for producing an optical data recording medium which can reproduce from a mark with a length shorter than the resolution of an optical system of a reproducing device, and which is stable against changes in the external environment when responding to status of use.

摘要： An optical disk having a recording layer on a substrate, a bonding layer which is made of an ultraviolet cured resin bonding the recording layer, a transparent layer which is bonded to the bonding layer, and an overcoating layer which is formed on the transparent sheet and is made of the ultraviolet cured resin further has a mixed layer which is formed by mixing the ultraviolet cured resins of the bonding layer and the overcoating layer. Consequently, the bonding layer, the overcoating layer, and the mixed layer are integrally cured, so that the substrate is entirely covered with the ultraviolet cured resin having transparency, which allows a light transmitting layer A to be protected with sufficient strength.

摘要： A sheet for producing a multilayer optical recording medium having a repeated structure in which a plurality of optical recording layers are laminated, wherein the sheet has a structure such that a unit comprising at least a release assisting layer, an optical recording layer having a thickness of 1 to 1,000 nm and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer are disposed on a process film, the release assisting layer is disposed on the surface of the process film, and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer is disposed as the outermost layer, and an absolute value of difference between refractive indices of the release assisting layer and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer at a wavelength of 660 nm is 0.11 or smaller; and a multilayer optical recording medium obtained by using the sheet. The sheet enables to release the process film and transfer the optical recording layer while the condition of the surface of the optical recording layer is kept excellent. The multilayer optical recording medium has a great recording density and exhibits excellent property for recording.

摘要： An optical information medium comprises a pair of discs which are bonded to each other, an optical recording layer provided on at least one of the discs, and a reflecting layer formed on an upper side of the optical recording layer. The optical information medium further includes an adhesive for bonding the pair of discs provided on the reflecting layer, wherein the adhesive has a thickness ranging from 10 to 80 &mgr;m. A protecting layer is provided on the upper side of the reflecting layer wherein the pair of discs may be bonded by the protecting layer. The optical recording layer, reflecting layer and protecting layer may be directly sequentially provided on the disc but another substrate layer may be inserted between these layers. There is employed, as the adhesive, those including a reactive curing resin or a hot melt material, and it is preferable that the shrinkage rate of the adhesive be less than 15%.

摘要： A hot melt adhesive crosslinkable by UV irradiation comprising a hot melt adhesive base, a saturated hydrocarbon oligomer containing at least one acryloyl group in a molecule for affording crosslinkability by UV irradiation, and a photopolymerization initiator, an optical disc comprising a pair of substrate, at least one of which is provided with an information recording layer, adhered to each other by means of a hot melt adhesive crosslinkable by UV irradiation and the process for preparing the same are disclosed. The adhesive of the present invention has a high heat resistance and heat stability, is applicable at a low temperature and at a low viscosity, has high softening point and high viscosity by UV irradiation. The optical disc of the present invention has high productivity, no corrosion and high heat resistance.
