摘要： In the preferred embodiment of the invention, a currency security box is releasably secured to a frame within a device, such as a vending machine, gaming machine, gaming table, amusement machine, bank machine or the like, and is automatically released from the frame by sliding a transportable security box cover over the security box. At the position where the security box cover releases the box from the frame, the security box cover also effectively encloses the security box and automatically latches onto the security box. The security box, along with the security box cover, may now be removed from the frame and the device. The security box cover includes a locking device which must be activated to release the security box cover from the security box so as to gain access to the currency in the box.

摘要： A sheet store, such as a banknote cassette, comprises a container having an access opening. The access opening is provided with a closure member and a locking device for locking the closure member in the closed position. The locking device includes an electrically conductive non-ferromagnetic member supported for movement between locked and unlocked positions. The member is biased to one of the positions and caused to move to the other of the positions in response to the generation of a magnetic field in the vicinity of the member.

摘要： An autoteller accepts on a ramp exchangeable banknote cassettes which can only be opened at the predetermined angle of the ramp when a key assembly on the ramp is presented to a lock. The cassettes may only have the key assembly presented to the lock when not on the ramp at an angle to the horizontal, whereat opening of the doors on the cassette is prevented by a blocking bar swinging to engage a notch in the opening mechanism to prevent operation of the opening mechanism. A processor in the autoteller accepts a password from an internal keypad, enters a wide access bank service routine if a first password is provided and a restrictive access third party service routine if a second password is provided, shutting down the autoteller if no correct password is provided within a predetermined number of tries in a predetermined time. In the third party service routine, the processor commands an internal printer to provide a first audit slip to the service personnel indicative of a running audit on the autoteller before servicing and after servicing the processor commands the printer to provide a second audit slip indicative of the running audit of the autoteller after servicing, the first and second audit slips providing accountability of the actions of service personnel.

摘要： In a method of providing safe control, storage and transportation of banknotes there is used a closeable cassette (1) provided with locking means, said cassette containing a liquid-dye container (9) which is activated when an attempt is made to force the cassette, thereby to render the banknotes unusable. To prevent a successful robbery against, for example, a store or like place in which banknotes are introduced into the cassette with the aid of a special infeed unit (19, 20), the cassette is constructed so that it can be removably connected to said infeed unit while exposing an infeed opening (16), said infeed unit suitably being provided with a counter means. In conjunction therewith, the associated infeed and packing means of the cassette are inserted into the unit, whereupon banknotes can be fed into the cassette. The cassette, with the banknotes therein, is then released from the infeed unit while closing the infeed opening, whereafter the cassette is transported to a collecting location, e.g. a bank, where an authorized person equipped with a key or a code for the cassette lock (1c) empties the cassette of its contents.The safety function of the cassette includes an electric circuit arranged, when an attempt is made to force the cassette, to ignite a detonator (8) which ruptures the liquid-dye container. The electric safety function is primed automatically when the cassette is closed as it is removed from the infeed unit.The invention also relates to a safety cassette (1) and an infeed unit (19, 20) for carrying out the method.

摘要： There is provided a compact and simple dispenser for dispensing envelopes each containing a predetermined number of paper sheets such as bank notes and being positively guided by perforations formed at the marginal side or sides of the envelopes. A series of envelopes is housed and stocked in a container unit of the dispenser while being folded one on another to form a train of envelopes which are cut off along the folded lines and then dispensed individually under the control of the central control center. The dispenser of the invention comprises the container unit which has a lock, and a dispensing unit having a cavity for receiving the container unit and a locking device for releasingly locking the lock of the container unit until a signal instructing disassembly of the container unit from the dispensing unit is received. The dispensing unit is further provided with a gearing mechanism to be coupled with the positive feeding mechanism of the container unit to drive the latter so that a single envelope is conveyed and fed to the dispensing unit.

摘要： A paper sheet storage box adapted to be removably set in a paper sheet dispenser such as an automatic cash vending machine or a money changing machine. The paper sheet storage box includes a front cover hinged to its leading side and a pair of cam forming lands and a pair of rollers for opening the front cover, when the storage box is inserted into the dispenser for the purpose of being set therein, and for closing the front cover when the storage box is removed from the dispenser. The storage box further includes a retaining pawl and a retaining mechanism for retaining the front cover in a locked condition when the latter is closed. Further inclusive in the storage box is a retaining pin mounted on one side wall of the storage box and an auxiliary engagement member having elasticity. This auxiliary engagement member is carried on the inner side of the front cover at such a position as to be snugly snapped on the retaining pin when the front cover is closed by the coaction of the retaining pawl and the retaining mechanism.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for providing a sealed container of traceable resources. The system may comprise receiving a request for an amount of resources to be provided in a sealed container. A set of individual resource items may be collected to meet this request. Information about the denominations and unique identifiers of these resource items may be identified, and each resource item can be verified for authenticity. The system may then secure the collected set of individual resource items in a container, apply a tamper-evident seal to the container, and apply an informational notification to the container. The informational notification may provide information on the makeup of the container contents as well as an indication of the verification of the contents. This sealed container can then be dispensed for future use.
