摘要： A liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel assembly having pixels arranged in a matrix form, which have a first group of pixels and a second group of pixels, gate lines having a first group of gate lines and a second group of gate lines that are connected with the first group of pixels and the second group of pixels, respectively, and data lines each of which is connected with one of the first group of pixels and one of the second group of pixels in every row of the matrix form. The liquid crystal display apparatus also includes a signal controller that receives input image signals and generates two groups of image data, a data driver that receives the two groups of image data and provides data voltages corresponding to the image data to the data lines, and a gate driving unit including a first gate driver that provides first gate-on signals to the first group of gate lines and a second gate driver that provides second gate-on signals to the second group of gate lines.

The inverter driving apparatus includes a plurality of inverter boards for generating driving signals for driving respective lamp units based on a control signal and a voltage signal. Each lamp unit includes at least one lamp, and the plurality of inverter boards are connected in series and include a first outer inverter board receiving the control signal and a second outer inverter board located opposite the first outer inverter board receiving the voltage signal. Each of the plurality of inverter boards transmits the control signal and/or the voltage signal to at least one of the plurality of inverter boards adjacent thereto.

The second conductive region includes a body conductive region and two hand conductive regions elongated from both ends of the body conductive region to form an U-shape. The third conductive region is formed on the second plane. The third conductive region includes an elongated portion. The elongated portion is disposed between the two hand conductive regions of the second conductive region. The amorphous-silicon TFT and the shift resister having the amorphous TFT reduce a parasitic capacitance between the gate electrode and drain electrode.

The gate-on voltage continuously decreases from a first level to a second level for a predetermined time, and the first level (Von1) and the second level (Von2) satisfy a relation given by, Von   1 + Vconst 2 - Von   1 + Vconst 2 × 10  % ≤ Von   2 ≤ Von   1 + Vconst 2 + Von   1 + Vconst 2 × 10  % .
