    • A grass catcher having a container and lid operatively attached to the lawn mower to receive grass cuttings in a grass catching mode and nestably related on the lawn mower in a storage mode for shipping. In the grass catching mode the lid is mounted to the lawn mower handle and includes downturned side flanges provided with a longitudinal guide track. The container is relatively deep and includes a rearwardly formed chute portion and upper side flanges engageable with the guide track, so that the container can be selectively separated from the lid. In the storage mode the container is inverted and disposed over the lawn mower motor assembly with the chute disposed rearwardly. The lid is nestably received by the container and can be shipped with the lawn mower in a container only slightly larger than that required to ship the lawn mower itself.

    • The “Time on Your Hand” Short Finger Glove is a new invention that not only will create a fashion statement but will be a benefit to the wearer. It will allow active consumers to comfortably and safely wear a timepiece while working out, fashioned of a breathable leather material with an elastic wristband for a secure fit. The glove itself could be offered in a one-size fit all configuration or in small, medium, and large designation to accommodate all users. Completely covering the palm and the back of the hand the, Time on your Hand” Short Finger Glove would feature “fingers” that extend up to the bottom knuckle joint of the wearer's fingers, leaving the top portion of the digits exposed.While sports and exercises can be fun and satisfying activities that help to strength physical health, the constant demands of on-the-go living are always hovering in the background, even when engaging in recreation. People are constantly aware of time and the lack thereof, so they find it necessary to sport a watch at all times. Yet, for active individuals, wearing a standard wristwatch can present a few drawbacks. Particularly, these expensive accessories can easily be torn away from the wrist when engaging in regimens such as weight lifting or contact sports. To combat these problems, individuals may remove their watches and place them in a pocket or gym bag, however, such actions can result in the timepiece being damaged, or even stolen.Recognizing the potential for a product that would allow active consumers to comfortably and safely wear a timepiece while working out, Mr. Thomas Brown has conceived of a cleaver product invention he has aptly designated as the “Time On Your Hand” Short Finger Glove Watch.The glove could be made available in a variety of attractive colors to appeal to individual tastes. This product could be powered by a battery source such as the micro alkaline or silver oxide cell batteries commonly found in wristwatches.

    • The fast dynamic measurement of bandwidth in a TCP network environment utilizes a single pair of packets to calculate bandwidth between two entities on a network (such as the Internet). This calculation is based upon the packet-pair technique. This bandwidth measurement is extremely quick. On its journey across a network, communication devices may delay the packet pairs. In particular, TCP networks have two algorithms designed to delay some packets with the goal of increasing the overall throughput of the network. However, these algorithms effectively delay a packet pair designed to measure bandwidth. Therefore, they distort the measurement. These algorithms are Nagle and Slow Start. The fast dynamic measurement of bandwidth implements countermeasures to overcome the delays imposed by these algorithms. Such countermeasures include disabling the application of the Nagle Algorithm; minimizing the buffering of packets by sending a “push” packet right after the packet pair; and avoiding the Slow Start Algorithm by priming it with a dummy packet.
