    • The method for producing and securing an apertured disk for a fuel injector is distinguished by the use of the following method steps: a) making available a flat, metallic sheet having a constant thickness, b) reducing the thickness in one region of the sheet by impressing or embossing, c) introducing at least one spray-discharge opening in the region having reduced thickness, d) machining the sheet until an apertured disk having predefined outside dimensions is attained, and e) securing the apertured disk on a valve-seat member of the fuel injector in such a way that a lower end face of the valve-seat member overlaps an intake region of the apertured disk produced by the thickness reduction, such that the at least one spray-discharge opening is covered.

    • A system for relative angle-of-rotation adjustment of a camshaft of an internal-combustion engine. An adjusting unit has an interior part connected with the camshaft, and a cell wheel with several cells distributed along the circumference. Interior part webs divide the cells into two pressure spaces. Hydraulic pressure admitted or relieved from the pressure spaces causes camshaft rotation between two end positions. A movable locking element in the cell wheel or the interior part opens up a hydraulic line to a pressure space when in an unlocked position. When in a locked position, bores in the interior part are closed off. The locking element can move into first and second unlocking positions, whereby the various bores are opened at desired intervals as the locking element moves. As a result, the useful life and the functionality of the locking device is improved.

    • A perforated plate that provides an improvement in a fuel injection valve that is used to inject fuel into the intake tube of a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine having externally supplied ignition. The perforated plate is secured on a nozzle body of a fuel injection valve, in which a tight-seat face is embodied. Cooperating with the tight-seat face is a valve needle, to which an armature is secured, which is actuated electromagnetically by a magnetic coil. The perforated plate is secured downstream of the tight-seat face, and is provided with opposite disposed elongated indentations each of which slope toward and discharge into a cylindrical hole in order to form fanlike streams that are ejected through the cylindrical hole.
