摘要： A tape circuit substrate includes a base film with first wiring and second wiring disposed on the base film. The first wiring extends into a chip mount portion through a first side and bends within the chip mount portion toward a second side. The second wiring extends into the chip mount portion through a third side and bends within the chip mount portion toward the second side. The first, second, and third sides are different sides of the chip mount portion. Thus, size and in turn cost of the base film are minimized by arranging wirings within the chip mount portion for further miniaturization of electronic devices, such as a display panel assembly, using the tape circuit substrate.

摘要： Provided is a wavelength division multiplexer/demultiplexer having a flat wavelength response. In the wavelength division multiplexer/demultiplexer, a modified taper-shaped optical waveguide is interposed between an input waveguide and a first slab waveguide, such that the distribution of an optical signal input to an Arrayed Waveguide Grating (AWG) has a sinc-function shape. Thus, a flat wavelength response can be obtained in an output waveguide. In addition, the modified taper-shaped optical waveguide interposed to obtain a flat wavelength response has a small size and a simple structure, and thus can be applied to a conventional wavelength division multiplexer/demultiplexer without a design change.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a layered core-shell cathode active material for secondary lithium batteries, in which the core layer has a structural formula of Li1+a[MxMn1-x]2O4 (M is selected from a group consisting of Ni, Co, Mg, Zn, Ca, Sr, Cu, Zr, P, Fe, Al, Ga, In, Cr, Ge, Sn and combinations thereof, 0.01≦x≦0.25, 0≦a≦0.1) and the shell layer has a structural formula of Li1+a[MyMn1−y]2O4 (M′ is selected from a group consisting of Ni, Mg, Cu, Zn and combinations thereof, 0.01≦y≦0.5, 0≦a≦0.1). In the layered cathode active material, the core layer, corresponding to a 4V spinel-type manganese cathode, functions to increase the capacity of the active material while the shell layer, corresponding to a 5 V spinel-type transition metal mix-based cathode, is electrochemically stable enough to prevent the reaction of the components with electrolytes and the dissolution of transition metals in electrolytes, thereby improving thermal and lifetime characteristics of the active material.

摘要： Disclosed is a system for fabricating a liquid crystal display using liquid crystal dropping and a method of fabricating a liquid crystal display using the same.
