    • A planetary rotary type rotation device comprises a stator, a rotor, and a center sun wheel drum (10). The stator includes a hollow cylinder block (1) having a cylinder. The rotor includes a main shaft (3), planetary piston wheel fixation flanges (9), and a planetary piston wheel (8). The two planetary piston wheel fixation flanges (9) are symmetrically fixed to the main shaft (3). The center sun wheel drum (10) is disposed between the two planetary piston wheel fixation flanges (9) and fitted over the main shaft (3). An annular piston space (19) is formed between an outer circular surface of the center sun wheel drum (10) and a cylinder wall of the cylinder of the cylinder block (1). The planetary piston wheel (8) is a cylindrical roller. The cylindrical roller is disposed in the annular piston space (19) in a rolling manner. Both ends of the cylindrical roller are fixed to the planetary piston wheel fixation flanges (9). A planetary rotary type fluid motor or engine, their operation method, and a planetary rotary type compressor or pump are disclosed. The planetary rotary type rotation device has a simple structure, a small volume, and a light weight.

    • Stirling cycle engines with hot and cold gerotor sets separated by an insulation barrier. The barrier has regenerative gas passages to allow gasses to flow therethrough thus connecting displacing chambers of the hot and cold gerotor sets. Each gerotor set has a rotor within a stator and displacing chambers created in an offset space therebetween. The stators may rotate about the rotors, or vice-versa. Either the rotor of the cold gerotor set has an axis of rotation offset with respect to the rotor of the hot gerotor set or the stator of the cold gerotor set has an axis of rotation offset with respect to the stator of the hot gerotor set, and the non-offset rotors or stators rotate about a common axis and are rotationally connected and create an angular phase offset between connected hot and cold chambers. The gerotor apparatuses may be utilized for a Stirling cycle engine for generating electricity, for example.

    • A trochoidal gear pump or engine uses a coaxial hub with an outer and/or inner rotor and an associated rolling element bearing assembly that uses pre-loaded bearings to precisely set the rotational axis and/or the axial position of the rotor with which it is associated. This allows the fixed-gap clearance between the rotor surfaces and the housing or other rotor surfaces to be set at a distance that minimizes operating fluid shear forces and/or by-pass leakage and eliminates gear tooth wear thus preserving effective chamber to chamber sealing. The device is useful in handling gaseous and two-phase fluids in expansion/contracting fluid engines/compressors and can incorporate an output shaft for an integrated condensate pump for use with Rankine cycles. A vent from the housing cavity to a lower pressure input or output port regulates built-up fluid pressure in the housing, thereby optimizing the efficiency of the device by controlling bypass leakage.

    • An enclosed positive displacement mechanism including a body with an inlet and an outlet; a rotor mounted in the body and rotatable about a main axis; an orbiting piston located in the cavity, rotatable about an eccentric secondary axis and arranged to orbit around the main axis to roll on the internal side surface of the cavity; and a vane located in the cavity, slidable in the piston and mounted in the body between one inlet and one outlet so as to oscillate. The orbiting piston and the vane divide in cyclic manner the cavity into a first and a second chamber with variable volume, which are mutually complementary and communicate with the inlet and the outlet. During a portion of its oscillation, the vane passes through the piston and is in contact with the side surface of the cavity, thereby separating the chambers in a fluid-tight manner.
