    • A hydraulic device at least has a pair of helical gears 20, 23, a body 3 containing the gears, bearing members 40, 44 supporting rotating shafts 21, 24 of the gears 20, 23, and cover plates 7, 8, 11 liquid-tightly fixed to both end surfaces of the body. A working liquid in a high-pressure side is caused to act on a back surface of the piston 9 and thereby the piston 9 is pressed onto the end surface of the rotating shaft 21, thereby causing a drag almost balancing a resultant force of the two thrust forces Fma, Fpa to act on the rotating shaft 21. The thrust forces Fma, Fpa acting on the gear 20 are cancelled by this drag.
