    • A planetary rotary type rotation device comprises a stator, a rotor, and a center sun wheel drum (10). The stator includes a hollow cylinder block (1) having a cylinder. The rotor includes a main shaft (3), planetary piston wheel fixation flanges (9), and a planetary piston wheel (8). The two planetary piston wheel fixation flanges (9) are symmetrically fixed to the main shaft (3). The center sun wheel drum (10) is disposed between the two planetary piston wheel fixation flanges (9) and fitted over the main shaft (3). An annular piston space (19) is formed between an outer circular surface of the center sun wheel drum (10) and a cylinder wall of the cylinder of the cylinder block (1). The planetary piston wheel (8) is a cylindrical roller. The cylindrical roller is disposed in the annular piston space (19) in a rolling manner. Both ends of the cylindrical roller are fixed to the planetary piston wheel fixation flanges (9). A planetary rotary type fluid motor or engine, their operation method, and a planetary rotary type compressor or pump are disclosed. The planetary rotary type rotation device has a simple structure, a small volume, and a light weight.

    • A rotary piston internal combustion engine includes a housing defining a cylinder chamber in the form of a circular ring. An even number of pistons circulate in the piston chamber and are of a circular cross-section adapted to the cylinder chamber. Two piston carriers mounted rotatably about the axis of the cylinder chamber each carry half the number of pistons, the peripheral surfaces of the piston carriers being such that they supplement the internal surface of the cylinder chamber to constitute a circular cross-section which corresponds to the pistons and against which piston rings on the pistons seal. At least one sealing ring is accommodated between the piston carriers and between each piston carrier and an oppositely disposed wall of the housing in an annular groove of the housing or a piston carrier respectively. The sealing ring bears against a co-operating surface of the respective piston carrier under a force which acts out of the annular groove.

    • A rotary engine having two interdigitated rotors (FIGS. 1a, 1b, or 1c) each of which has two radial vanes dividing a cylindrical cavity in the liquid-cooled rotor housing (11 in FIG. 2) into four chambers. The rotors are coupled to a planetary gear system (FIG. 2 ) by connecting rods (19 and 29) to planet gears (22 and 32) that rotate about a fixed sun gear (27) having a diameter twice the diameter of the planet gears. During one revolution of the output shaft (25), which is connected to the planet gear cage (24), the rotors alternately speed up and slow down, causing the size of each of the four chambers to vary from a maximum size to a minimum size twice. As the chambers rotate about the axis of the cylindrical cavity, they pass an inlet port (13), outlet port (14) and ignition plug port (15) contained in the housing so that intake, compression, explosion and exhaustion occurs in each chamber for one revolution of the output shaft. A passageway (39) containing an adjustable, pressure-sensitive valve (40) vents the compression chamber to the intake chamber to allow the compression ratio to be varied and to provide [a compression] an expansion ratio that exceeds the [expansion] compression ratio.
