摘要： An apparatus for disintegration (or mixing) of a solid in a vessel containing liquid, has a control unit and an ultrasound transducer for generating ultrasonic energy under control of the control unit. A coupling medium in communication with the ultrasound transducer is adapted to receive the vessel. Ultrasonic energy is transferred to the contents of the vessel such that in use the ultrasonic energy causes disintegration of the solid into the liquid contained in the vessel. An agitating mechanism is adapted to agitate the disintegrated solid in the liquid contained in the vessel. The agitating mechanism may include a paddle having a coating of flavouring material. A method for disintegration of a solid in a vessel is also disclosed.

In the hot process, all of the components are ground except for the course surface granules. In the cold process, a type of grind is formed that is the same as the hot process except it is a dry powder. A horizontal mixer (20) can be used either hot or cold. The hot process and cold process can be run in combination with one another or independently. The component separation process uses a screen or the like (34) to separate the cold process material into surface granules, filled asphalt coating, and saturated felt component, while a magnet (38) may be used to help separate nails and other metal objects from the mixture.

摘要： Solid materials may be processed using shockwaves produced in a supersonic gaseous vortex. A high-velocity stream of gas may be introduced into a reactor. The reactor may have a chamber, a solid material inlet, a gas inlet, and an outlet. The high-velocity stream of gas may be introduced into the chamber of the reactor through the gas inlet. The high-velocity stream of gas may effectuate a supersonic gaseous vortex within the chamber. The reactor may be configured to facilitate chemical reactions and/or comminution of solid feed material using tensive forces of shockwaves created in the supersonic gaseous vortex within the chamber. Solid material may be fed into the chamber through the solid material inlet. The solid material may be processed within the chamber by nonabrasive mechanisms facilitated by the shockwaves within the chamber. The processed material that is communicated through the outlet of the reactor may be collected.
