摘要： A vertical form, fill, and seal (VFFS) machine and method for producing an oral sachet designed to be placed in a users mouth, the oral sachet. The oral sachet includes permeable paper that does not contain fiberglass. The permeable paper forms a pouch that includes a top seal arranged at first end of the pouch, a bottom seal arranged at a second end of the pouch opposite from the first end, a vertical seal that extends from the top seal to the bottom seal, and a cavity located between the top seal and the bottom seal. Granular contents, including at least one granular or powdered component, are arranged within the cavity of the permeable-paper pouch.

摘要： A web of cleaning products and a method of manufacturing the same is disclosed. The web includes a carrier sheet having a plurality of depressions each filled, and in direct contact with, at least one cleaning composition. A plurality of internal lids that correspond with the plurality of depressions are sealed to the carrier sheet in a manner covering the plurality of depressions. Additionally, a plurality of external lids that correspond with the plurality of internal lids are sealed to the carrier sheet and cover the plurality of internal lids. The carrier sheet and external lids may be made of a water-resistant material, and the internal lids may be made of a water-soluble material. In one embodiment, the internal lids may be omitted, and instead the depressions be filled with water-soluble pouches, each of which contains a respective dose of a cleaning composition.

摘要： An easy open and reclosable bag has flexible sheet walls sealed together to form a pouch. A separable reclosure tie is located adjacent one of those seals. The reclosure tie is composed of extensions of the bag walls which have an integral channel-shaped molding spaced from that seal. A line of specially shaped, closely spaced apart perforations through the bag walls extends between the molding and the one seal to permit the reclosure tie to be separated from the pouch-defining walls of the bag. Apparatus for making the easy open and reclosable bag is also disclosed.

摘要： A flexible tube container has a plurality of cells linearly disposed along the length of the tube. The cells are defined by a plurality of segmented weld lines, each segmented weld line extending the width of the tube. Each segmented weld line permits fluid communication between the various cells in the container and the formation of individual frozen confections within each of the cells upon freezing of the fluid therein. Dispensing of an individual frozen confection is easily done by bending the tube along any segmented weld line, which detaches an adjacent cell containing an individual frozen confection and immediately permits sanitary consumption of the frozen confection while it is hygienically protected within the detached cell.

The laminated packaging material consists of a base layer of paper or cardboard and facing layers of thermoplastic material, and the cut edge of the material which rests against the inside of the package is prevented from coming into contact with the contents of the package by application of a protective strip thereto along the joint zone, this strip being a laminate consisting of a base layer coated on both sides with a thermoplastic material which is sealed to the inside thermoplastic layer of the package. The base layer of the protective strip has a higher softening temperature than that of the inside thermoplastic layer of the packaging material.

The package is characterized in that the film materials are separately packed in such a way that taking one film packet out of the belt is facilitated by the provision of zones of less mechanical strength at the circumference of each separate packet. Opening of the separate packets puts no problems as a lip-like portion having an asymmetric wave-type form is overlappingly sealed to another portion so that the rupturing of the seal between both portions, causing the opening of the concerning separate packet is facilitated.
