    • A film passage is formed at a rear side of an exposure aperture which is disposed between a cartridge chamber 11 and a film take-up chamber 12. The film passage comprises a passage channel 15 integrally formed with a camera main body and a film support plate covering a rear side of the passage channel. By covering the passage channel with the film support plate, an inside of the slit-like film passage is maintained in light-tight state before attaching the rear cover to the main body. A film take-up chamber cover is attached to the film take-up chamber to constitute a part of a wall thereof. By covering a rear side of the film take-up chamber with the film take-up chamber cover, the inside of the film take-up chamber is maintained in light-tight state before attaching the rear cover to the main body.

    • A film loading apparatus for preventing the breakage or enlargement of a film perforation. The apparatus comprises a spool having catches each of which engages a perforation of film, and a film feeding member having a claw which reciprocatingly moves in synchronism with the rotation of the spool. No catch is provided at the portion of the spool which passes a film engaging position at the time of backward movement of the film feeding member and in a predetermined range between that portion and the portion which passes the film engaging position at the time of forward movement of the film feeding member. No catch is engaged with a perforation of the film during or immediately before backward movement of the film feeding portion, thereby preventing the breakage or enlargement of a film perforation. By providing a rib at the portion of the spool where no catch is provided and clamping the film between the rib and a film guide plate provided on the inner surface of back lid of the camera, film can be kept in a take-up waiting state, thereby facilitating the film winding operation.

    • A photographic camera with a zoom lens comprises a fixed lens barrel and a movable lens barrel which has a fixed lens group and a movable unit movably receiving a lens group. The lenses of the lens group of the movable unit are held by lens holders that are a round-ended configuration with straight sides between the rounded ends. These straight sides leave part-circular spaces in the movable unit, which is in the form of a rotatable cylinder. Rods on which these lens holders are slidably mounted are disposed in these part-circular spaces, to achieve a compact configuration.
