摘要： A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus, in which a magnetic tape is automatically mounted on a tape guiding drum containing rotary magnetic heads for the recording and reproduction of signals on and from the tape, is provided with a pair of tape drawing and mounting members which are engageable with a tape in a cassette mounted on the apparatus and movable along guide slots in guide board to draw the tape out of the cassette to a position in which the tape is mounted on and extends around the tape guiding drum. The tape drawing and mounting members are operatively connected to chains. Drive mechanism is provided to wind and unwind the chains so that the chains are moved along guide members to thereby move the tape drawing and mounting members, respectively, away from the cassette for the required tape drawing and mounting operation.

摘要： The present invention provides a new ice nucleus-forming bacterium strain, Xanthomonas campestris INXC-1 (FERM BP-4191), a process for the cultivation of the new ice nucleus-forming bacterium, an ice nucleus-forming substance containing the ice nucleus-forming bacterium, and the uses of the ice nucleus-forming substance. Further, a method for lyophilizing a food using the strain as an ice nucleus-forming substance is disclosed; wherein the method is carried out by adding the strain to the food, thereby freezing the food, and then vaporizing moisture from the frozen food to effect drying. The food types which may be lyophilized using the method include tea extracts, fruit juices, soy sauce, sauces, drippings, soups fermented soy bean paste and agar.

摘要： A roller assembly fitting device for selectively locking the retraction of the pivot, which is inserted in a bore in a mounting bracket to support the roller assembly in both brackets. The device has a roller-end sleeve fixed to the roller assembly, a guide sleeve rotatably mounted in the roller-end sleeve, a pivot retractably mounted in the guide sleeve, and a coil spring interposed between the guide sleeve and the pivot to bias them in opposite directions. The guide sleeve has its radial projection for selectively fitting engagement with axial and peripheral grooves formed in the outer periphery of the pivot. The pivot is retractable when the guide sleeve is in the first position in which the projection is in the axial groove but locked when the guide sleeve is in the second position in which the projection is in the peripheral groove.
