摘要： A fluidized membrane bioreactor comprising a bioreactor including biochemically active organisms; fluidized particles which is a support media to be attached by the organisms; and membranes which permit treated water to pass through except the organisms, wherein the fluidized particles are in direct contact with the membranes. The membranes are installed internally or externally to the bioreactor. The particles may be granular activated carbon or other suitable materials. The fluidized particles serve not only as support media for microorganisms, but also as media for sorption or otherwise retention of matter that can cause membrane fouling and as an abrasive material for cleaning the membrane surface.

摘要： An apparatus for obtaining biometric information of driver is provided. The apparatus includes a first biometric-signal-sensing unit that is installed in the steering wheel of an automobile and senses a driver's biometric signal therefrom. Additionally, a second biometric-signal-sensing unit is installed in the driver's seat of the automobile and also simultaneously senses a driver's biometric signal. As a means of control, a controller obtains biometric information selectively using biometric signals which satisfy a preset condition in obtaining biometric information based on biometric signals sensed by the first biometric-signal-sensing unit and biometric signals sensed by the second biometric-signal-sensing unit.

摘要： A thin film transistor (TFT) having an offset structure is disclosed. The TFT maintains a sufficiently low “off” current and a sufficiently high “on” current. The TFT includes an active region. The active region includes a gate electrode; an active layer that overlaps with the gate electrode; a gate insulating layer between the gate electrode and the active layer; and a source/drain electrode layer including source/drain electrodes that are electrically connected to the active region. Some of the source/drain electrodes overlap partially with the gate electrode. Other of the source/drain electrodes are offset from the gate electrode. The source/drain electrodes and the gate electrode are in a symmetrical arrangement.
