The optical member includes a first substrate, a plurality of wavelength conversion parts provided on the first substrate while being spaced apart from each other, and a sealing layer on a top surface of the wavelength conversion parts and at a lateral side of the wavelength conversion parts. Each of the wavelength conversion parts includes a host on the first substrate, and a plurality of wavelength conversion particles in the host.

摘要： A method for forming a vent port in a glass panel and a glass panel product manufactured using the same. The vent port has no protruding vent pipe, such that the vent port discharging gas from a sealed space to the outside is formed in either one of a pair of plate glasses separated in a thickness-direction to form the sealed space therebetween, produced by: forming an exhaust hole in either one of the plate glasses; vertically inserting a vent-pipe-type sealing material into the upper portion of the exhaust hole; discharging gas from a space between the plate glasses to the outside; heating the sealant member such that the sealing material is converted into fluid and the exhaust hole is closed by the sealing material having collapsed after being heated; and solidifying the sealing material remaining in the exhaust hole, ensuring good sealing properties without using a protruding vent pipe.

摘要： To provide a process for producing a glass member provided with a sealing material layer, capable of favorably forming a sealing material layer even in a case where the entire glass substrate cannot be heated.A sealing material paste prepared by mixing a sealing material containing a sealing glass and a laser absorbent with an organic binder is applied to a sealing region of a glass substrate 2 in the form of a frame. The frame-form coating layer 8 of the sealing material paste is selectively heated by irradiation with a laser light 9 along the coating layer 8 to fire the sealing material while the organic binder in the coating layer 8 is burnt out to form a sealing material layer 7. Using such a sealing material layer 7, a space between two glass substrates is sealed.

When a cross-section of the sealing layer 6 of the electronic device is observed, the sum total of perimeter lengths of the low expansion filler and the laser absorbent present in a unit area (fluidity inhibition value) is from 0.7 to 1.3 μm−1, and the sum total (thermal expansion value) of a value obtained by multiplying the area ratio of the sealing glass by the thermal expansion coefficient, and a value obtained by multiplying the sum total of the area ratios of the low expansion filler and the laser absorbent by the thermal expansion coefficient of the low expansion filler, is from 50 to 90×10−7/° C.
