    • A system includes a collector module configured to collect route parameters from a selected node of a plurality of nodes in the network, wherein the route parameters from the selected node are indicative of a first route to a destination address and a second route to the destination address; and a route processor configured to determine a first intermediate node along the first route communicatively coupled to the destination address and a second intermediate node along the first route communicatively coupled to the destination address, based at least in part on the collected route parameters. A method includes collecting route parameters from a first intermediate node and a second intermediate node that can be configured to communicatively couple a source node to the destination node, determining at least a first route through the first intermediate node and a second route through the second intermediate node, and determining which route among the first route and the second route is optimal according to one or more criteria.

    • A method and computer system for structuring two-vehicle financing. A price for a first vehicle having a first fuel economy is determined, and an average amount that the first vehicle will be driven each month is estimated. These steps are repeated for a second vehicle having a second fuel economy. Loan/lease terms are determined for both vehicles combined. A monthly transportation cost for the first and second vehicles combined is calculated based on the monthly loan or lease payment and the estimated amount that the first and second vehicles will be driven each month, respectively.

    • An inertial barrier includes a standard size plastic container and a single size insert that is supported by a ledge inside the container for supporting different amounts of sand or other dispersible granular energy absorbing material thereon to achieve different barrier weight configurations. The insert has an axially upwardly, radially inwardly extending top wall that may be generally frustoconically shaped and is made of a suitable plastic material that permits some downward flexing of the insert inside the container as the weight of the material that is placed on the insert builds up, causing the sides of the insert to expand and push radially outwardly against the container side wall, preventing the material from leaking past the insert inside the container. Axially extending ribs may be provided in the container side wall for increased strength and rigidity. At least some of the ribs may have upper ends that extend laterally inwardly in substantial alignment with the ledge to provide additional support for the insert when placed inside the container.
