    • A method for providing a Backup Label Switched Path for a specified Bypass Label Switch Path is disclosed. The method for providing a Backup Label Switched Path for a specified Bypass Label Switch Path includes establishing a Bypass LSP having an end-to-end path; obtaining the nodes traversed by the end-to-end path; generating a request to a path calculator which using the nodes provided on the end-to-end path calculates a path disjoint to those nodes; and signaling the calculated disjoint path as a Backup LSP for the Bypass LSP. The method for providing a Backup Label Switched Path for a specified Bypass Label Switch Path provides protection advantages over systems known in the art by providing capability for handling double failure scenarios.

    • The present disclosure relates, according to some embodiments, to compositions, apparatus, methods, and systems that may be used to produce polyols, for example, polyether polyols with a narrow range of molecular weights, with little if any unsaturated byproducts, in a sustained and/or continuous reaction, with efficient heat transfer, and/or at high production rates. For example, in some embodiments, teachings of the disclosure may be used to produce polyether polyols in a continuous loop flow process. A continuous loop flow process may be practiced such that heat is effectively transferred and/or product properties (e.g., range of molecular weights) are controllable. For example, a continuous loop flow process may use one or more continuous flow loops comprising a heat exchanger, a means to move material around each loop, inlets for catalyst, monomer, initiator or starter, and an outlet for polyol product.

    • An integrated data communication and data access system includes a first cache memory operatively connected to a first application and a first conversion means operatively connected to the first cache memory and interfacing between a first operator of the first application and the first cache memory for receiving original data having a first format from the first operator and converting the original data having the first format into original data having a second format, the first application storing the original data having the second format in the first cache memory and in a database when the first application sets a persistant or a transient storage state.
