The current flow to the solenoid is controlled by a control circuit mounted on circuit boards located within an inner casing secured to the body. An outer casing surrounds the inner casing and defines a space which is connected with a fuel inlet, the space communicating with a fuel inlet of the pump. The flow of fuel through the space assists the cooling of the components of the control circuit.

摘要： A heater for an air-fuel mixture having a heating element of a positive temperature coefficient resistor comprises a pair of metallic thin cylinders of different sizes each having outward flange portions at least at one end combined with each other as a double cylinder; a plurality of positive temperature coefficient resistors arranged between said inner and outer cylinders with springs for pressing the positive temperature coefficient resistors to the inner cylinder wall; an electric insulator plate inserted between the outward flange portions of said inner cylinder and the outward flange portions of said outer cylinder; a fixing means anchoring between said outward flange portion of the outer cylinder and said outward flange portion of the inner cylinder for fixing integrally with electric insulator plate; an electrically insulating material inserted between an inner end portion of the inner cylinder and an inner end portion of the outer cylinder for spacing between said inner end portion of the inner cylinder and said inner end portion of the outer cylinder with end gaps so as to insulate said inner end portions of said inner cylinder and outer cylinder. The engine with this heater can easily start and requires no fuel-rich mixture even in cold weather. As a result, an exhaust amount of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon in exhaust gas can be remarkably reduced and an engine having excellent acceleration ability immediately after starting can be obtained.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for limiting fuel leakage from at least one injector in an engine of a motor vehicle, the engine being stopped and the motor vehicle ignition circuit being switched off, the injector being supplied with fuel via a fuel rail which is pressurized during operation, the pressurization persisting for a certain period when the engine has been stopped and the ignition circuit switched off, leading to leakage of fuel through the injector. The injection rail is subjected to forced cooling following the stoppage of the engine with the motor vehicle ignition circuit switched off, which is sufficient to reduce the pressure, the forced cooling continuing until the pressure in the rail is close to atmospheric pressure.

摘要： Provided is a configuration which prevents an engine from being unable to start in the state in which dew condensation occurred in a fuel injection pump and froze. The present invention relates to a fuel injection pump which is provided with a pump body and a hydraulic head and driven by an engine, and is characterized in that while the engine is in operation, the temperature of the hydraulic head is increased to a dew-point temperature or higher. Consequently, it is possible to increase the temperature of the hydraulic head and remove water in the fuel injection pump while the engine is in operation. Accordingly, the engine can be prevented from being unable to start in the state that dew condensation occurred in the fuel injection pump and froze.
