摘要： The present disclosure includes a mining system which comprises ore, waste, and a reservoir which comprises a portion of said waste through which air can flow with low resistance for storing thermal energy from a tempered air source and supplying it to a tempered air consumer, and connections for tempered air flow between said tempered air source and said reservoir and between said tempered air consumer and said reservoir. Note: As used herein, “tempered air” means air of a temperature sufficiently high to heat, or low to cool, an object to a desired temperature. For example, in a house, the furnace is a source of tempered air for heating in winter, the air conditioner a source of tempered air for cooling in summer, and the house is a consumer of tempered air.

摘要： An installation for storing of natural gas or some other fluid comprises a lined underground storage space. Inside the rock wall of the storage space, there is a concrete layer for supporting an inner impermeable lining layer. According to the invention, the concrete layer has a crack distribution control reinforcement layer closer to the impermeable lining layer than to the rock wall in order to divide large cracks in to smaller cracks and to distribute the cracks over a larger area of the impermeable lining layer. Also according to the invention, there is provided between the impermeable lining layer and the concrete layer a non-binding sliding layer to facilitate relative movements between the impermeable lining layer and the concrete layer.

The floor, sides and roof of an excavated underground rock cavern 8, Fig. 3, at the bottom end of an inclined adit 3 for storing liquid methane at atmospheric pressure are first sealed at 101, 121, Fig. 4, against inflow of water, the roof and sides are then lined with foam-in-place insulation material 103, e.g. polyurethane which in turn is lined by layers 105, 106 of rigid polyurethane foam panels whilst the floor is lined by layers 107a, 106a formed of rigid polyurethane panels, and the roof sides and floor are then sealed by an impermeable barrier layer 111, e.g. of aluminum and finally the adit is closed at a point above the stored liquid level by a vapour barrier means 6 through which pass service lines. Abutting edges of the panels of layers 105, 107a are sealed by non-setting mastic whereon abutting edges of the panels of layers 106, 106a are sealed by flexible foam 113, Fig. 5, and by flexible tape. The barrier 6 comprises a doublewalled steel frame 211, Fig. 10, bolted to a concrete frame 207 set in the walls, floor and roof of the adit, and an access opening 219 in frame 211 is closed by a removable cover 223. In operation air is displaced from the cavern by inert gas delivered from a source 25 through initial cool-down spray lines 26 and the liquid fill line 30, whilst return purge gas is exhausted through a liquid withdrawal line 38 and a vapour return line 32. Initial liquid injection is through lines 26 and nozzles 28 and displaced gas returning through line 32 is flared at 48 until said return gas comprises pure methane after which the return gas is either re-liquefied at 50 or delivered to a consumer line 49. When cooldown is completed liquid methane is fed to the cavern through fill line 30 and may be withdrawn by a pump 56 discharging through a line 38 into a vaporizer 35.

摘要： Disclosed is a combined process of integrating stoping-backfilling and carbon storage. The combined process includes the following steps of: determining a cyclic interval of a working face through measured data of a mine pressure of a fully-mechanized coal winning working face; when the stoping distance of the fully-mechanized coal winning working face reaches a backfilling isolation interval, providing a backfilling tarpaulin behind a hydraulic support, and pumping, through a backfilling pipeline, backfilling slurry to a backfilling area along a support beam; when the area is backfilled with the backfilling slurry, injecting supercritical carbon dioxide into the backfilling slurry; and allowing the supercritical carbon dioxide to fully react with the backfilling slurry to solidify the backfilling slurry.

摘要： The present disclosure provides an artificial dam of a distributed coal mine underground reservoir and its constructing method. The artificial dam comprises a support layer (10), an anti-seepage layer (20), and a concrete structure layer (30) that are successively formed in an auxiliary roadway (1) from inside to outside, the concrete structure layer (30) being embedded into a security coal pillar (2) and/or surrounding rock (3) around the auxiliary roadway (1). Because the concrete structure layer (30) is embedded into the security coal pillar (2) and/or the surrounding rock (3) around the auxiliary roadway (1), the artificial dam is combined to the security coal pillar (2) to together form a dam for an underground reservoir. Due to multi-layer design, anti-seepage performance and structural strength of the dam can meet the water storage requirements of the underground reservoir.
