    • The invention relates to a device for producing knitted fabric comprising a knitting machine and at least one roving drawing and strengthening unit. The at least one roving drawing and strengthening unit has a roving supply unit, by means of which a roving can be provided in the form of a fiber bundle that has not been strengthened, a stretching unit, to which the roving can be fed in a roving conveying direction in the form of at least one sliver, and a spinning nozzle device, by means of which compressed air can he applied to a drawn roving exiting the stretching unit in a fiber strengthening segment. The invention further relates to methods for producing knitted fabric by means of a knitting machine and at least one roving drawing and strengthening unit. By means of the at least one roving drawing and strengthening unit, a roving is provided by a roving supply unit in the form of a fiber bundle that has not been strengthened, the roving is fed in a roving conveying direction in the form of at least one sliver, the roving is drawn by the stretching unit, and compressed air is applied to the drawn roving exiting the stretching unit by a spinning nozzle device in a fiber strengthening segment and said roving is thus strengthened.

    • According to embodiments of the invention a multi-mode memory device is provided. The memory device includes at least one content-addressable memory (CAM). The memory device further includes a first match-in bus for receiving input into a first CAM of the at least one CAM, wherein the status of the match-in bus determines a operating mode of a plurality of operating modes of the first CAM, and a match-out bus for enabling the first CAM to be coupled to another CAM module and comprises match lines of a memory portion of the first CAM, wherein if the match-in bus is disabled, the first CAM is in a first mode, and if the match-in bus is enabled, the first CAM is in a second mode.

    • A passenger cabin window, especially in a commercial passenger transport aircraft, includes an outer window pane and an inner window pane with an interspace formed therebetween, and a frame around the perimeter of the window interspace. The frame has a funnel-like shape that expands or enlarges from the smaller dimensions of the outerpane to the larger dimensions of the inner pane. At least a visible portion of the frame bounding the window interspace is provided with a mirror reflective surface and particularly a reflective coating thereon. The reflective surface reflects the outside scene, so that the window frame with the reflective surface appears to be a part of the outside view, to a passenger looking out of the window. This visually enlarges the window opening and visually reduces the structural thickness of the fuselage wall, thereby avoiding a closed-in feeling and a tunnel-vision-effect through the window funnel.
