    • A highly stable photopolymerizable composition which is highly photosensitive to visible light, which can be hardened using a visible light laser, such as an argon laser, which provides excellent contrast between non-irradiated portions and the substrate under red light, and, moreover, which provides excellent contrast between the portions irradiated by the laser and the portions not irradiated. The photopolymerizable composition consists of 100 parts by weight of a resin which is hardenable under visible light having an irradiation energy mainly consisting of light rays in the 400 nm to 700 nm visible light region; 0.02 to 0.5 parts by weight of at least one dye selected from the group consisting of Victoria Pure Blue, anthraquinone dyes, monoazo dyes, and merocyanine dyes, these dyes having maximum absorption wavelengths from 550 to 700 nm; 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of the leuco dye 4,4'-(phenylmethylene bis[N,N-diethylbenzene amine]; and 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of tribromomethylphenyl sulphone.

    • A coating composition for the preparation of synthetic resin shaped articles excellent in abrasion resistance and weatherability is described. This composition comprises (a) a polyfunctional monomer mixture comprising (i) 25-75 wt. % of at least one polyfunctional monomer of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein at least three of X.sub.11, X.sub.12, X.sub.13, X.sub.22, X.sub.23 -X.sub.n2, X.sub.n3 and X.sub.14 are CH.sub.2 .dbd.CH.C00-- and the remaining groups are --OH, and n is an integer of 1-5, (ii) 25-75 wt. % of at least one polyfunctional monomer of the formula (II): ##STR2## wherein at least three of the R groups are CH.sub.2 .dbd.CH COO-- and each of the remaining is H or --OH, n.sub.1, n.sub.2, n.sub.3, n.sub.4, m.sub.1, m.sub.2, m.sub.3 and m.sub.4 are integers of 0, 1 or 2, and X is an integer of 1 to 10 and (iii) 0 to 50 wt. % of a monomer containing one acryloyloxy group and having a boiling point of at least 150.degree. C. at normal pressure and a viscosity of not higher than 20 cps/20.degree. C., and (b) 0.01-6.0 wt. parts, based on 100 wt. parts of the polyfunctional monomer mixture, of at least one photosensitizer. The coating composition is coated on a synthetic resin shaped article and then, irradiated with utraviolet rays in air to form a crosslinked coating film having a thickness of 1-30 microns.

    • A sublimation dispersion dye receptive resin composition which comprises a polyester resin, a cross- linking agent obtained by curing by activating energy, and a releasing agent which can effect the cross-linked construction of at least one selected from the group of silicon functional groups and functional groups containing fluorine. This resin composition is especially applicable to image-receiving paper or image-receiving film for sublimation-type thermal dye transfer methods; it has superior anti-blocking and heat-resistant characteristics. Furthermore, by means of the addition of benzotriazol ultraviolet stabilizer or hindered amine photostabilizer, the fading characteristics are improved.
