    • An object of the present invention is to provide a burner such as a two-fluid spray burner which can produce a large amount of combustion exhaust gas with a simple structure, does not cause unburned gas and accidental fire, and furthermore can provide shortened flame and a uniform distribution of the flow rate of the combustion exhaust gas. Accordingly, the burner includes: a cylindrical combustion air passage (15) formed between a two-fluid sprayer (12) and a burner outer cylinder (48) surrounding a periphery of the two-fluid sprayer; a plate (shield plate) (18) separating the combustion air passage and a combustion space portion (13); and a combustion air passage hole (52) provided in the outer periphery of the plate. Combustion air (50) flowing down the combustion air passage is blocked by the plate and introduced to the outer periphery of the plate to be kept away from the two-fluid spray nozzle (38). The combustion air then flows through the combustion air passage hole into the combustion space portion. Furthermore, a first cylinder (16) for delaying supply of the combustion air and a second cylinder (17) for preventing stagnation are provided on the undersurface of the plate. A throttle plate with a passage hole opened in central part is provided in the combustion space portion.

    • An insulation displacement terminal is formed entirely of an integral metal sheet. The terminal includes first and second plate-like insulation displacement groove-forming portions opposed to each other in a first direction along which an insulated wire extends. Each of the insulation displacement groove-forming portions has an insulation displacement blade of a U-shape defining an insulation displacement groove. Bottom portions of the insulation displacement groove-forming portions are interconnected by an interconnecting portion. A lead extends downwardly from one side edge of the interconnecting portion. A holding space for an insulation of the insulated wire is formed between a pair of plate portions which are formed respectively at opposite side edges of the first insulation displacement groove-forming portion by bending. Each of the plate portions has a retaining projection and a bendable piece portion.

    • In a liquid ejecting apparatus in which ink is supplied from an ink tank to a print cartridge detachably mounted on a carriage through a tube, connection between an ink needle at a tube side and an interconnecting member at a cartridge side can sealingly be effected positively, and ink supplying and connecting means can be made compact. A closing film having a small hole and a central slit is provided at a tip end of an interconnecting member made of soft material and fitted into an ink flow-in projection portion of the print cartridge into which an ink needle is inserted. Further, a notched needle tip end avoiding configuration is provided at a lower part of a tip end of the projection portion so that abutment between the projection portion and the ink needle can be avoided when the print cartridge is mounted and dismounted, thereby reducing a shifting amount of a needle holding member.
