摘要： This invention provides a water-based primer composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of modified polyolefin, aqueous urethane resin and/or aqueous acrylic resin, specific diester compound and electrically conducting pigment, the content of the diester compound being specific. The water-based primer composition excels in adhesive property to plastic substrates, and use of the water-based primer composition enables formation of multilayered coating film excelling in finished appearance and water resistance, being free of layer mixing even when the top coating of the next step is carried out after the primer's application without an intervening preheating.

摘要： An aqueous resin composition obtained by emulsion polymerization using a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (b) in the presence of an aqueous resin dispersion (A) comprising an acid-modified polyolefin (a), an ether-based solvent and a basic substance. Also, an aqueous coating composition comprising an aqueous resin dispersion (B) obtained by emulsion polymerization of a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (b) in the presence of an aqueous resin dispersion (A) containing an acid-modified polyolefin (a), an ether-based solvent and a basic substance, with resin beads (C), wherein the content of resin beads (C) is 1-30 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total resin solid content of the coating material. The composition has excellent adhesion for plastic bases and allows formation of coated films with excellent water resistance, stain resistance, damage resistance and solvent resistance.

摘要： The present invention provides an aqueous intermediate coating composition comprising (A) an acrylic emulsion resin having a hydroxy value of 5 to 80 mgKOH/g and an acid value of 1 to 15 mgKOH/g, obtainable by emulsion polymerization of monomer mixture (a) comprising ethyl acrylate, a hydroxy-containing radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer and a carboxy-containing radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer, the ethyl acrylate content of the monomer mixture being 60 wt. % or more; (B) a carboxy-containing resin having a hydroxy value of more than 80 mgKOH/g but not more than 200 mgKOH/g; (C) a curing agent; and (D) a coloring pigment, and having a solids content of 60 wt. % or more. The invention also provides a method for forming a multilayer coating film using said aqueous intermediate coating composition.
