    • An audio multi-disc player with vertical player trays is provided. The device includes an audio unit in a centrally located housing cabinet, the housing having vertically oriented right and left audio disc player trays in the same plane as the central housing. The player trays are each covered with a transparent or translucent cover or door which are separately capable of opening to a hidden position within the central audio housing, exposing either the right or left compact disc player trays for insertion, inspection or removal of discs while utilizing a minimum of ambient space for the tray and cover component of the audio device.

    • A low-power multi-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) driver, and a semiconductor device having the same, in which the multi (M)-level PAM driver includes a load unit, first and second current sources, a pair of first input transistors, a pair of second input transistors, and a current source controller, where M is an integer greater than 3. The load unit is electrically connected to an output terminal, and the first and second current sources respectively supply a first amount of current and a second amount of current to the load unit. The pair of first input transistors electrically connects the first current source and the load unit in response to a first bit signal, and the pair of the second input transistors electrically connects the second current source and the load unit in response to a second bit signal. The current source controller activates or deactivates one of the first and second current sources in response to the first and second bit signals. Accordingly, current sources for a multi-level PAM driver are selectively activated or deactivated, thereby minimizing power consumption in the multi-level PAM driver.

    • A termination circuit for a HDMI transmitter includes a bias unit and a termination resistor unit connected in parallel between a positive transmission pin and a negative transmission pin. The bias unit generates a bias voltage by selecting the higher voltage among a first voltage received through the positive transmission pin and a second voltage received through the negative transmission pin. The termination resistor unit is formed on a well region biased by the bias voltage, and conditionally provides a termination resistance between the positive transmission pin and the negative transmission pin in response to a termination resistor control signal. The termination circuit conditionally provides a termination resistance without a leakage current. The termination resistance may be varied by using an n-bit control code.
