摘要： I-beam-attachable lifeline system, including methods and apparatus, for worker safety. In some embodiments, the system may comprise a frame structure including upright columns and horizontal I-beams. The system also may comprise a pair of fittings connected to a horizontally-spaced pair of the I-beams. Each fitting may have a first hook component and a second hook component received on respective opposite edge regions of a flange of an I-beam of the pair of I-beams and attached to one another with a fastener such that the fitting spans the flange transversely and is supported by the I-beam. The system further may comprise a cable having opposite ends connected to the pair of fittings.

摘要： A wing may include a wing skin, a laminate composite first stringer, a rib, and at least one fastener. A majority of the first stringer may be characterized by a stacked plurality of generally planar plies of reinforcement material structurally joined as a stack to an interior surface of the wing skin and extending generally parallel to the interior surface and a span-wise direction of the wing along a substantial portion of the interior surface. The first stringer may have a generally solid trapezoidal cross section when viewed in a plane that is generally perpendicular to the span-wise direction. The rib may be positioned adjacent the interior surface, and may extend generally perpendicular to the span-wise direction. The trapezoidal cross section may be interfaced with the rib flange. The fastener may extend through the wing skin, the trapezoidal cross section, and the rib flange.

摘要： Output devices supporting wireless device discovery are herein disclosed and enabled. To setup an output device for wireless connection, wireless device discovery is performed by a client of the output device to discover the output device. Upon being discovered, the output device may provide identification or information related to the output device to the client for establishing a wireless connection. Subsequently, the output device may receive, via the established wireless connection, digital content from the client for output. Wireless device discovery operations may be based on one or more of a close proximity wireless communication, a Bluetooth wireless communication, or a wireless communication compatible with a protocol within IEEE 802.11 standards. Security information, such as a password, biometrics, or a PIN, may be required for establishing the wireless connection. The output device may automatically obtain the security information from the client or may be based, in part, on user input.

The gearbox system may include a wobble plate having a wobble axis disposed at a non-zero angle relative to the rotation axis, a rear face, and a plurality of face teeth disposed on the rear face. The wobble plate may further include a first plurality of wobble teeth disposed in a first plane perpendicular to the wobble axis and a second plurality of wobble teeth disposed in a second plane perpendicular to the wobble axis. The second plane may be spaced from the first plane along the wobble axis. The gearbox system may include a stator gear having a plurality of stator teeth and an output plate having an output axis substantially aligned with the rotation axis and a plurality of output teeth. The plurality of input teeth may be configured to engage with the plurality of face teeth, the first plurality of wobble teeth may be configured to engage with the plurality of stator teeth, and the second plurality of wobble teeth may be configured to engage with the plurality of output teeth as the wobble plate nutates around the stator gear.

摘要： An equine performance tracking and monitoring system having real-time feedback may include a heart rate monitoring strap having a wireless transmitter, a wearable device, and a portable electronic device. Different components of the system may be connected by and/or information may be stored in a network. To measure the horse's heart rate, the disclosed systems may utilize a discrete-length heart rate monitoring strap having electrodes, one of which is positioned behind the left elbow of the horse. The horse's heart rate may be transmitted to the wearable device by the transmitter. The wearable device may include a sensor configured to measure the heart rate of the rider. The heart rate of the horse and the heart rate of the rider may each be presented to the rider, for example, via a display of the wearable device.

摘要： A portable propulsion system for a watercraft may include a shaft, a propeller, an outer casing, and a flexible strap. The shaft may have a prop end section, a drive end section, and a rotational axis extending from the prop end section to the drive end section. The propeller may be connected to the prop end section of the shaft. The drive end section may be configured for removable connection to a driver for rotation of the propeller via rotation of the shaft about the rotational axis to propel the watercraft. The outer casing may be disposed around the shaft. The flexible strap may have first and second end sections connected to the outer casing in respective first and second regions.
