The method comprises: (a) preparing the interface to present at least one fresh mechanically adherable stiff surface; (b) thermally spraying a top coating thereonto consisting of at least one of (i) a self-lubricating metal, ceramic material or metal alloy, and (ii) a compliant metal; and (c) placing the coating interface into service to subject it to repeating articulating swiveling contact that functions to microweld the coating to the surface under normal operating conditions.

摘要： An axle suspension for rigid axles in vehicles, especially utility vehicles, in which at least one longitudinal control arm is arranged on each side of the vehicle approximately at the same level. The control arms extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and connect the vehicle axle vertically movably to the vehicle body. At a different level, a triangle pull rod is articulated to the vehicle axle and to the vehicle body centrally and laterally offset. A stabilizer bar including a torsion spring bar counteracting lateral tilting movements by torsional stresses is also provided. The stabilizer bar is arranged directly between the longitudinal control arms. The ends of the stabilizer bar are connected to the longitudinal control arms in the manner of a universal joint, but rotating in unison.

The compound arrangement has a first bar which acts as a sway bar and a second bar which provides an output torque opposite to that of an input torque. The two bars are arranged to operate together and to be attached to the same location of respective wheel support structures. Variation of the torsional characteristics of the two bars of the compound arrangement allows the roll stiffness to be varied while also varying the forces which tend to lift the inside wheel when the automobile is moving in a curved path.

摘要： A pressure generation and responsive mechanism is provided wherein several blade members bodily movable with a first member is received within a space formed in a second member. The second member provides a first flat end surface in friction engagement with the blade members, and an actuation piston, by itself or in cooperation with the second member, provides a second flat end surface in friction engagement with the other ends of the blade members. Silicon oil is filled within several space sections defined by the first and second flat end surfaces and the blade members. When the first member is moved relative to the second member, the blade members compulsorily displaces the silicon oil within the several space sections against friction resistance with the first and second flat end surfaces. Thus, a pressure is generated within each of the several space sections to actuate the actuation piston.
