摘要： A filter coalescer element for oil based industrial fuels includes a rigid, porous support tube, and a hydrophobic drainage layer covering the outer surface of the same. A single phase, dual function combination water coalescer and particle filter pleat block is positioned in the support tube, and is formed from a multilayer material having a first porous support layer, a synthetic microfiber layer, a synthetic fiber media layer and a second porous support layer. As the fluid passes through the pleat block, solid particles are physically filtered therefrom, and water is coalesced into droplets which pass from the pleats directly through the support tube and directly into the drainage layer, where the droplets grow into a size sufficient that they fall under gravity to the bottom of the element for collection.

A cylindrical filter includes a hollow cylindrical filter body configured by suitably combining a plurality of cylindrical first filter sections having mutually different inner diameters, each first filter section including a glass fiber as a major component, and a plurality of cylindrical second filter sections having mutually different inner diameters, each second filter section including a resin fiber as a major component, with each other. The first filter sections and the second filter sections are disposed in a concentrically superimposed manner and alternately arranged in a radial direction relative to each other. The cylindrical filter further includes a pair of seal members fixedly provided on the opposite axial ends of the first and second filter sections.

The filter bag is for use in vacuum cleaning apparatus, and comprises fine planar filtration means in the form of a collection bag and coarse planar filtration means both being adapted to be placed in a suction-induced air stream with the coarse filtration means disposed upstream of the fine filtration means, wherein the fine filtration means serves to provide a fine filter for retaining dust particles and wherein the coarse filtration means comprises a relatively coarse filter material having a thickness of at least 4 mm which provides a matrix volume in which dust may be collected. The volume occupied by the coarse filtration means comprises at least 2%, preferably at least 5%, most preferably at least 10% of the maximum internal volume defined by the collection bag.

摘要： The pleated filter bag, which can be used in a bag-house type dust collector, is elongated and has a longitudinal hollow center with an open end, and a pleated filter wall circumscribing the hollow center. The pleated filter wall has a felt such as PTFE fibers felted onto an apertured and pleatable scrim which can be made of metal, and having a permeability lower than a permeability of the scrim. A membrane of lower-permeability material, such as an E-PTFE membrane, covers the support felt on the outer side of the bag.
