    • An on-hold interface system is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the system includes an interactive voice response system for providing a plurality of audio signals to a telecommunications device of a calling party, wherein the calling party has been placed on-hold. The system also includes a server for checking accessibility of a network connection of a network device, wherein the network device is associated with the telecommunications device of the calling party. The system also includes an enhanced on-hold interface system for providing a plurality of signals to the network device. In addition, the system includes an automatic call distributor for receiving a signal indicating the accessibility of the network connection of the network device, and for instructing the enhanced on-hold interface system and the interactive voice response system to provide the plurality of signals to the network device and the telecommunications device based the accessibility of the network connection.

    • An electronic system (10). The system comprises circuitry (P1) for receiving a system voltage from a voltage supply. The system also comprises circuitry (141), responsive to the system voltage, for providing data processing functionality. The circuitry for providing data processing functionality comprises a critical path (CP1) and the critical path comprises a plurality of transistors. At least some transistors in the plurality of transistors have a corresponding predetermined voltage operating limit corresponding to a predicted lifespan. The system also comprises circuitry (221) for indicating a potential capability of operational speed of the critical path. The system also comprises circuitry (CB) for coupling the system voltage to the critical path. Lastly, the system also comprises circuitry (26) for adjusting the system voltage, as provided by the voltage supply, in response to the circuitry for indicating a potential capability. In selected instances, the circuitry for adjusting adjusts the voltage supplied by the voltage supply to be a voltage greater than the predetermined voltage operating limit while still complying with the predicted lifespan.

    • Embodiments of the present invention provide a system and method for providing presence and availability status information of a first user to a second user. The system includes a presence availability server for storing presence and availability status information of the first user. The presence availability server is configured to detect a change in the presence and availability status of the first user. The presence availability server also informs a notification server of a change in the presence and availability status of the first user. The notification server sends a notification message to a communication device of the second user. The notification message contains current presence and availability status information of the first user. Other systems and methods are also provided.

    • Computer system and method automatically generates a test source code for checking validity of an application written in an object oriented language. The application includes objects accessible through an interface implementing programming rules and object behavior rules. For each object, the invention extracts object methods and attributes of the object interface which are impacted by the object behavior rules and extracts the object identification. The invention fills the variable fields of a source code template with the extracted information. The template non variable source code is in conformance with the programming rules and implements a scenario for checking a set of object behavior rules; thus the filled template forms a generated test source code. For distributed applications, the specifications may be EJB or CORBA and the Test Generator uses templates for checking the life-cycle (creation, persistency, removal) of deployed objects.
