摘要： Systems and methods for dryer rollers of a print system with increasing wrap angles. In one embodiment a dryer includes a turning device configured to rotate about an axis, and to guide a web of print media. The dryer also includes rollers configured to transport the web from an entrance of the dryer to the turning device. The rollers include a series of three or more rollers positioned in the dryer to consecutively increase an amount of contact area with the web as the web travels toward the turning device.

摘要： A drying device includes a plurality of blowers to blow air onto an object to be dried, the plurality of blowers being disposed along a direction of conveyance of the object to be dried, and a plurality of heaters to heat air inside the plurality of blowers. Each of the plurality of blowers includes an elongated nozzle arranged along a nozzle direction perpendicular to the direction of conveyance of the object to be dried, and an airflow generator to generate airflow to be blown from the elongated nozzle. The plurality of blowers includes a first blower including the airflow generator at a first end of the first blower in the nozzle direction and a second blower including the airflow generator at a second end of the second blower opposite the first end in the nozzle direction.

The controller turns on the heater while the medium is conveyed, and turns off the heater when the medium is stopped. The temperature detector detects a temperature of the supporter. 摘要： In order to provide an overheat protection circuit having a small mounting area, the overheat protection circuit includes: a resistor bridge circuit which includes: a plurality of resistors each having a temperature coefficient; an input terminal; and an output terminal; and a comparator circuit connected to the output terminal and the input terminal of the resistor bridge circuit. Parts are each provided in the vicinity of one of the plurality of resistors each having the temperature coefficient, and the comparator circuit outputs an overheat detection signal when a temperature of one of the parts is equal to or higher than an overheat detection temperature. With this structure, a large number of parts can be protected from overheating by a minimum number of overheat protection circuits. Therefore, a circuit scale becomes smaller, and hence a cost for overheat protection becomes lower.
