    • PURPOSE: A firing control system of a sniper, capable of controlling the collimation and firing of a sniper at a remote, and a control method thereof are provided to maximize firing efficiency and to minimize misfiring by enabling a shooter and commander to check a real-time video. CONSTITUTION: A firing control system of a sniper comprises a firing part(110), a sighting camera(130), a wireless control transmitter(140), a shooting controller(150) and a control part(160). The firing part shoots a target using firearm. The sighting camera is installed on one side of an eyepiece of a sighting telescope(30). The sighting camera comprises a reflective optical part and an image transformation module. The image transformation module changes the analog video image of the target into a digital image signal.

    • A remote gunshot system and method are provided to improve safety of soldiers and maximize the firing efficiency by using a remote firing device transmitting firing command. A remote gunshot system comprises a firearm control unit(200) and a remote gunshot control unit(100). The firearm control unit is connected to a firearm, controls the firearm to aim the target and fire the shot in response to a firing command, and takes and transmits the target image. The remote gunshot control unit is located apart form the firearm control unit, calculates the location coordinate of the target which a shooter selects and transmits the coordinate information to the firearm control unit, receives the target image from the firearm control unit and transmits control signal to the firearm control unit to precisely aim the target, and sends a firing command when aimed straight.

    • A remote gun control method is provided to enable a pointer to automatically and precisely aim and shoot a selected target with a gun by observing the target with a telescope positioned far from the gun. A remote gun control method comprises the steps of enabling a shooter positioned far from a gun to observe and select a target and transmit information on coordinates of the target obtained from a target coordinate measurement device(1), enabling the shooter to aim the target by estimating an aiming direction of the gun using the coordinates, by estimating a value of compensating for a point of impact referring to a ballistic curve due to a distance from the target to the gun, and by operating a PT(pan/tilt) device(2), transmitting a video generated from a camera mounted on the gun to a terminal of the shooter(3), enabling the shooter to precisely aim the point of impact while watching the video by using an interface device(4), enabling the pointer to transmit a PT control signal to a gun control device(5), and enabling the gun to be shoot by transmitting a shoot command signal to the gun when the shooter checks the gun is precisely aimed at the target from the video(6).
