    • Disclosed is a method for controlling pulleys of a vehicle with a continuously variable transmission. The disclosed method for controlling the pulleys of the vehicle with the continuously variable transmission is characterized by including: (a) a step of measuring the temperature of oil inside the continuously variable transmission and checking a driving condition of the vehicle with a transmission control unit (TCU) and an electronic control unit (ECU) when a drive of the vehicle is started; (b) a step of independently calculating a line pressure and desired pressures of a driving pulley and driven pulley corresponding to the driving condition measured in the step (a); (c) a step of calculating a correction value of an oil pressure-oil temperature correcting map having each representing ability of the line pressure, the driving pulley pressure, and the driven pulley pressure as much as a current temperature; (d) and a step of calculating a new desired pressure, which is a new desired value, by adding the correction value obtained in the step (c) to the desired value obtained in the step (b).

    • The present invention provides a continuously variable transmission smoothly and stably changing gears without shaking of a vehicle by preventing a flapping motion as a moving pulley surface of a driven pulley rotates in an opposite direction to the rotation direction of a belt and maintains tension of the belt when a gear is shifted in a low speed. The present invention also provides the continuously variable transmission capable of smoothly shifting the gears as a cam arm moves along a predetermined trace by a roller and smoothly corrects a radius of a driving pulley by enabling a cam arm controlling the radius of the driving pulley according to rotation speed to stably move along the roller although the rotation speed is suddenly accelerated or decelerated.

    • PURPOSE: A continuously variable transmission for a vehicle delivers high engine torque by installing a chain sprocket or a timing belt in a variable pulley with a variable interval. CONSTITUTION: A power pulley (12) is installed between a first guide plate and a first fixing plate. A first guide bar moves along a first guide groove by being installed on the first guide plate and the power pulley. A connection pulley (22) moves in the longitudinal direction of a rotary shaft by being installed between a second guide plate and a third guide plate. A third driving unit (24a) is installed at the center of a third guide bar and includes a one-way bearing. A clutch unit and a rotation control unit are successively installed in a rotation unit. A second coil spring (34) delivers the power of an output shaft to the wheel of a vehicle by being installed between a second fixing plate and a driven pulley.

    • PURPOSE: A balance piston oil supply device of a continuously variable transmission is provided to reduce the length of the inner bore processing portion of a shaft, to secure the stabilized axial stiffness, and to easily process a shaft by bypassing a lubricating path to a slip joint between a movable sheave and a transfer drive gear. CONSTITUTION: A lubricating path(34) for supplying an operating oil to a balance piston(22e) is formed in a secondary movable sheave(22b). The entire length of the lubricating path is reduced in the secondary movable sheave. The lubricating path is extended along the inner faces of a transfer drive gear(24), a parking gear(24a), and a bearing(24b) on the outer face of the secondary movable sheave, and is communicated with the inner part of the balance piston. By filling the inner space of the balance piston with the operating oil, the centrifugal hydraulic pressure due to the operating oil in a secondary hydraulic chamber(22c) is compensated. According to the reduced length of the lubricating path, the degradation of the axial stiffness to the secondary movable sheave is prevented.
