    • PURPOSE: A method to manufacture vitreous carbon molds is provided to manufacture a vitreous carbon mold which is divided into a pattern unit and a substrate unit and not to produce faulty products having defects such as a pore which is generated in a manufacture process by forming the pattern unit on a thin plate shape. CONSTITUTION: A method to manufacture vitreous carbon molds comprises the steps: positioning a mixture (10) including thermosetting resin, a curing agent, and a solvent to control the viscosity between a master pattern (200) and a thermosetting resin substrate (100) formed in a micro nano process; compressing the master pattern and the thermosetting resin substrate and forming a thermosetting resin pattern unit (300) hardened on the substrate by heating; and separating the master pattern and performing a carbonizing process on the substrate and the thermosetting resin pattern unit which is hardened on the substrate.
