    • PURPOSE: A double sealing structure for an air cylinder is provided to dually seal and block the air cylinder with a piston upper sealing ring and a piston rod packing. CONSTITUTION: A double sealing structure for an air cylinder(1) comprises a piston(2) in the cylinder. A piston rod(3) penetrates through the upper center part of the cylinder, and an air port A(1a) and an air port B(1b) are formed on the top and the bottom of the cylinder respectively. A rubber piston packing(2a) is mounted on the outer periphery of the piston to seal in between the inner wall of the cylinder and the piston. A piston upper sealing ring(4) is mounted on the top of the internal space of the cylinder in order to contact to the top surface of the piston. A piston rod packing(6) contacted to the outer periphery of the piston rod is mounted on the inner side of the upper part of the cylinder where the piston rod penetrates. A cylinder upper sealing ring(8) contacting to the outside of the cylinder is mounted on the top of the cylinder. A rubber sealing cap(7) is fixed on the piston rod in order to contact to the cylinder upper sealing ring when the piston moves backward.

The seal ring is received in one or more piston grooves(21) on one side and contacts the inner wall of the cylinder on the other side. The piston grooves are formed on the outside surface of the piston in the circumferential direction. The elastic ring is inserted in the circumferential groove on the inner side of the seal ring to push the seal ring toward the inner wall of the cylinder.

    • A piston ring of an engine is provided to prevent combustion gas of a combustion room from being leaked to the outside of the engine. A piston ring of an engine includes a ring body(10) and a blowby interrupter. The blowby interrupter is mounted on an opening part of the ring body. The blowby interrupter includes a slide part(24), a protector(26), and a spring(30). The slide part is slidably inserted into a slide groove part formed at one side of the opening part of the ring body. The protector is connected to the slide part in one body. The protector closes the opening part by contacting with both opening surfaces formed in the ring body. The spring is installed between the slide part and the slide groove part. A groove having a gap(T) of 0.2mm to 0.45mm is formed between one surface of the protector and an opening surface of the ring body.
