    • The invention relates to a method for transferring information from and/or to a subscriber-sided communication device (CPE), wherein at least one first communication relationship (ps1) between the subscriber-sided communication device (CPE) and a decentralised communication device (DSLAM) which is associated with at least one communication network (ACCESS), is established. Also, at least one additional communication relationship (ps2) between the central communication device (DSLAM) and a network access device (BRAS) which establishes a connection to a superior communication network (OKN), is established. First information (iwww) can be exchanged between the subscriber-sided communication device (CPE) and the superior communication network (OKN) via the first and the at least one additional communication relationship (ps1, ps2). According to the invention, additional information (icast) which is transferred via the at least one communication network (ACCESS) to the decentralised communication device (DSLAM) is transferred via the first communication relationship (ps1) to the subscriber-sided communication device (ps1). Advantageously, traditional subscriber-sided communication devices and network-sided network access devices and multimedia-data sources can still be used for using current and future multimedia-data services.

    • PURPOSE: A communication system using a DSL(Digital Subscriber Line) existing with a TCM(Time-Compression Multiplexing)-ISDN line is provided to communicate with a communication line for a TCM-ISDN system through the DSL bound in the same cable bundle, thereby exactly finding a starting point of a data signal inputted after a TTR(TCM Timing Reference) indication signal. CONSTITUTION: An ADSL modem(100) comprises as follows. An analog to digital converter(110) converts analog signals into digital signals. An FIFO(First In First Out) buffer(120) stores the digital signals, and sequentially outputs the digital signals. An FFT(Fast Fourier Transformer)(130) performs an FFT for signals of one frame with frequency band signals, and outputs phases of the transformed frequency band signals. A synchronization circuit(140) receives phase information, and controls the FIFO buffer(120) and a receiving data processor(150). The receiving data processor(150) restores the signals outputted from the FFT(130) to original signals.
