    • PURPOSE: An audio conference bridge is provided to let an offending conferee participate in an audio conference again without an operator's assistance, not disturbing other conferees, and remove a music-on-hold. CONSTITUTION: The audio conference bridge operates for providing a graphic user interface(GUI) through terminal equipments of more than one conferee. The GUI composes a graphic display of the conferee, a graphic display of an audio sound level control received from each conferee, and a graphic display of an anti-music-on-hold related to each conferee. Operating or selecting the anti-music-on-hold related to the offending conferee prevents an audio from the offending conferee being merged to an audio channel, which connects other conferees to the audio conference bridge, by informing to the audio conferees and sending a signal. When this occasion happens, the audio conference bridge generates a message generator, which the offending conferee sends a message to inform a temporary hang-up to the offending conferee, a touch-tone detector detecting whether a reconnection signal is sent from the offending conferee, and reconnects the offending conferee to the audio conferee automatically when the reconnection signal is detected.

    • The break-in method is such that, when an attendant perceives a telephone subsciber on the line, the attendant breaks in forcefully upon the subsciber's call currently on the line, changing the present call to a conference-call and, if the attendant hangs on the phone, the subscriber waiting to be switched breaks into the conference call replacing the attendant. The method comprises the steps of checking a simple call state; allocating the conference-call circuti; intervening in the attendant break-in state; and checking the attendant hang-on state. The method allows the waiting or reserved subscriber to break in a conference-call state by use of the conference-call circuit while continuously holding subscibers present line.

    • A call priority management system is implemented on or as part of one or more communication networks, for allowing authorized calling parties to control call disposition when the party being called is already on another call. In operation, when a first terminal initiates communication with a second terminal that is already in communication with a third terminal, the system determines if the newly initiated communication is a priority communication. By ''priority'' communication, it is meant a communication associated with a user and/or terminal having a designated or assigned privilege to interrupt ongoing communications at the second terminal. If so, the ongoing communication between the second and third terminals is interrupted, and a communication link is established between the first and second terminals. Prior to interruption, the calling party may be informed that the second/called terminal is already engaged in another call, for optionally interrupting the ongoing call.
