    • The present invention relates to a system for remotely controlling a multi-channel excavator using Zigbee communication. The system comprises an excavator and a remote control terminal remotely controlling the excavator. The excavator includes an equipment operation unit performing the function and an equipment wireless communication module interfacing the equipment operation unit and the remote control terminal by being connected to the remote control terminal by the Zigbee communication and to the equipment operation unit by a first CAN communication. The remote control terminal includes a remote control operation unit remotely controlling the excavator and a remote wireless communication module interfacing the remote control operation unit and the excavator by being connected to the equipment wireless communication module of the excavator by the Zigbee communication and to the remote control operation unit by a second CAN communication. The equipment wireless communication module and the remote wireless communication module mutually communicates by any one of a main communication channel and a sub communication channel by using the Zigbee communication. In case an error of the main communication channel is detected, they mutually communicate by the sub communication channel. Accordingly, the communication between the excavator and the remote control terminal is stably performed and the remote control stability can be secured. The deviation in a time stamp produced attended with the insertion or deletion of the empty packet can gradually be corrected.

    • PURPOSE: A method for rearranging a channel while transferring IEEE 1394 isochronous data to a synchronous network is provided to match the synchronization between networks by overcoming the difference between the IEEE 1394 network and the other networks. CONSTITUTION: A mapping table is prepared for representing the relationship between the channels of IEEE 1394 network and external synchronous network while establishing a call of the external synchronous network. And, channel order is read from the header unit of isochronous data to be transferred. Then, the channel order of the IEEE 1394 network is rearranged corresponding to the channel order of the external synchronous network while referring to the mapping table. Therefore, the isochronous data are transferred to the external synchronous network according to the rearranged channel order.

CONSTITUTION: A method for managing a communication network between an institute of electrical and electronics engineers(IEEE)1394 and an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM), comprises the steps of: collecting status information on every apparatus connected to the IEEE1394; and displaying the collected information. The step of collecting the information transmits a message inquiring the apparatuses for internet protocol(IP) addresses, and stores the IP addresses and identifications(IDs) of the apparatuses in a memory. Bus resetting is generated in every apparatus. Information on speed maps and topology maps are requested from a bus management, and the information is collected to be displayed.
