    • PURPOSE: A device for sensing an operation trouble for a pill counting device and a method for controlling the same are provided to count the number of pills easily by sensing a malfunction of a pill counting device and removing a malfunction state and to embody a convenience of a user by decreasing the number of cleaning times of a pill cassette of a pill counting device. CONSTITUTION: A connection shaft(21) is mounted between a shaft(2a) of a motor(2) and a shaft(11b) of a pill guide rotating unit(11). A plurality of magnetic bodies(22) is fixedly mounted at a circumference surface of the connection shaft(21). A hall sensor(23) senses a magnetic force of the magnetic body(22). A control unit receives a signal of the hall sensor(23), compares/calculates the signal, and controls the motor(2). It is desirable that the magnetic bodies(22) are mounted at a circumference surface of the connection shaft(21) at the same intervals. The magnetic bodies(22) are fixedly mounted at a position corresponded to two connection shafts(21). The hall sensor(23) senses a magnetic force of the magnetic body(22) and outputs a signal to the control unit. The control unit receives the signal of the hall sensor(23) and controls a rotating direction of the motor(2).

    • PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for detecting a deposited state of paper is to directly detect a displacement of a detecting roller shaft using a magnetic field detecting sensor, thereby basically preventing an error generated by a mechanical tolerance. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting a deposited state of paper comprises a counting roller portion(10) having a reference roller(21a,21b) fixed to a reference roller shaft(20) and a detecting roller(31a,31b) fixed to a detecting roller shaft(30), a detecting sensor(1a,1b) for detecting a displacement of the detecting roller according to a deposition of paper(50), an A/D converter(3) for converting an analog signal from the detecting sensor into a digital signal, and a microprocessor(4) for receiving the digital signal from the A/D converter and determining a deposited state of the paper, wherein a permanent magnet is disposed at one end or both ends of the detecting roller shaft, the detecting roller shaft is movably disposed toward a front and rear side with respect to the reference roller shaft. In the apparatus, an encoding wheel(22) is disposed at one end of the reference roller shaft. The apparatus further comprises an optical sensor(2) for detecting a rotation of the encoding wheel.

    • PURPOSE: A BCD(Binary Code Decimal system) code detection method for a decimal counter is provided to perform an automatic control and measurement by using enable an analogue instrument in order to exchange data to the external by detecting the tooth of decimal counter as a binary code. CONSTITUTION: The BCD code as a number indicated through a hole of a gear is detected by making a hole on the gear surface of decimal instrument according to an arrangement of the BCD code and by a combination of single electrode pickup coil. The BCD code is detected by attaching an iron piece or magnetic influencing on a frequency of resonance pickup coil and circuit to the gear surface and detecting the change of resonance frequency according to the inductance change of a terminal. The BCD code also is detected by detecting the BCD code hole with a two sensor of both sides of gear. The BCD code hole is placed on the inner side of tooth base of decimal counter and arranged by a regular spacing and the spacing of 36 angular degrees.
