    • Provided are a black colorant compound, especially ionically complexed black colorant compound to exhibit excellent black color without color separation, a process for preparation of the compound and use thereof such as toner composition, ink composition or pre-concentrated composition. The colorant compound comprises (a) a first ionic dye component having color property to absorb partial range of visible ray spectrum; and (b) a second ionic dye component having color property to absorb another partial range of the visible ray spectrum other than the partial range of the visible ray spectrum absorbed by the first ionic dye component. The first and the second ionic dye components form the ionically complexed black colorant compound. The colorant compound has a water solubility less than 100ppm and a molecular weight less than 5000 dalton. The colorant compound further includes a colorless ionic compound to form coordinate covalent bond with any one among the first and the second ionic dye components.

    • PURPOSE: A toner for electric photographs and a method for manufacturing the toner are provided to implement a decoloring process by obtaining coloring particles and coagulating the coloring particles, binder resin particles, and releasing particles. CONSTITUTION: Leuco dye is prepared. A coloring-decoloring controlling agent includes a structure generating colors through the reaction with the leuco dye and a structure with a decoloring function. The structure with the decoloring function disturbs the contact of the leuco dye and the structure generating colors. The leuco dye and the coloring-decoloring controlling agent are heated in a dispersing media in order to obtain a coloring agent(Act102, Act103). The coloring agent is particulated(Act104). The particulated coloring agent is cooled in order to maintain coloring particles with a coloring function(Act105). The coloring particles, binder resin particles, and releasing particles are coagulated.
