    • PURPOSE: A thermometer measuring accumulated temperature for a farm is provided to control growth rate and harvest time of crops by controlling temperature within a facility. CONSTITUTION: A thermometer measuring sum of temperature for a farm comprises a main body(10), a computing device(20), a temperature sensor(30), a controller(40), and a display unit(50). The main body is moveable, and installed in a farm. The computing device is formed inside the main body, and calculates daily mean temperature, accumulated temperature, and harvest predicted time. The temperature sensor senses outside temperature, and transfers the sensed temperature to the computing device. The controller controls the computing device. The display unit outputs the measured temperature and the results performed in the computing device.

    • A temperature measuring apparatus and method are provided to measure the internal temperature of selected part of a medium and confirm the temperature distribution of a high temperature part such as boiler by measuring the speed of sound passing through the selected part and averaging the sound speed. A temperature measuring apparatus comprises a plurality of sound sensors(30) which are installed around a temperature measuring space and measures sound speed, and a sound speed-temperature converter which converts the measured sound speed into temperature. Each of the sound sensors includes at least one of transmitter(32) and a receiver(34) so that the sound from the transmitter of one sound signal is delivered to the receiver of another sound sensor. The measured sound speed is converted into the temperature of path between the transmitter and the receiver.
