    • PURPOSE: A vehicle fuel amount measuring device is provided to prevent the corrosion of the fuel amount measuring device even though corrosive fuel is utilized, thereby obtaining the durability of the fuel amount measuring device. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle fuel amount measuring device comprises a sender case(1), a sender cover(3), a scoop(5), a displacement converting unit, a displacement delivering unit, and an electric sensor unit. The sender case is fixed to inside of a fuel tank. The sender cover is joined to the sender case, thereby forming a closed sensing space in the inside of the sender case. The scoop is installed to be vertically moved according to the amount of fuel. The displacement converting unit converts the vertical displacement of the scoop into the rotation displacement in the outside of the sensing space. The displacement delivering unit delivers the rotation displacement in the outside of the sensing space to the rotation displacement in the inside of the sensing space while maintaining the closed state of the sensing space. The electric sensor unit is arranged in the inside of the sensing space so that an electrical physical quantity is consecutively changed by the rotation displacement.

    • PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to accurately measure the fuel quantity in the fuel tank by protecting the fuel gauge from a sudden change caused due to the movement of float, while accurately calculating the residual travel distance. CONSTITUTION: A fuel quantity transmitting system comprises a float(1) and a float arm(2); a resistance unit(3) for measuring fuel quantity in the fuel tank and transmitting the measured fuel quantity to a fuel gauge; and a connector(4) rotating centering from a fixed shaft(4a) so as to contact the resistance unit and display fuel quantity through a fuel gauge. The connector is extended into a predetermined length, and the extended connector has, at an end thereof, a connecting rod(10) moving sideways centering from a hinge axis(10a). The connecting rod has, at an end thereof, a piston(20) which is interlocked with the connecting rod and reciprocates sideways. The piston reciprocates in a linear manner within a damper housing(30) having a through hole(30a) and a fuel passage hole(30b). The damper housing has a control valve for preventing sudden change of resistance value caused due to the change of an oil level in the fuel tank, by permitting the fuel passage hole to have different area in accordance with the amount of fuel being introduced, and setting the damping force different for the case where the float is elevated or lowered.

    • PURPOSE: A variable type fuel transfer apparatus is provided, in which frame and arm have variable lengths, to thereby reduce cost by eliminating inconvenience of arranging fuel transfer device for each type of fuel tank. CONSTITUTION: A fuel tank(11) has a plate(14), and a frame fixing part(15) having a guide hole(15a) formed into a vertical lengthwise direction is attached to the plate. The frame fixing part has a frame operating part(16) which is coupled through a bolt(100), wherein the frame operating part has a screw thread(16a) such that the frame operating part is slidable in a vertical direction in accordance with the size of the fuel tank. The frame operating part has, at an end thereof, a resistance section(17), and a contact integrated type arm(18) for transferring, through an electrical contact, the amount of fuel in the fuel tank to a fuel gauge(13) is disposed in the vicinity of the resistance section. The arm has, at an end thereof, a float(19), and is fixed by an arm length adjusting member(20) which rotates centering from a hinge axis(20a), such that the arm has a length varying in accordance with the type of the fuel tank. The arm length adjusting member includes an arm support ring(20b) for supporting the front end of the arm, and an adjusting hole where an arm length adjusting bolt(200) is coupled in such a manner as to vary the length of the arm.

    • The present invention relates to a non-contact fuel level measuring device using the change in a capacitance and, more particularly, to a non-contact fuel level measuring device which measures a capacitance based on a facing area between a rotating plate, which rotates in accordance with a floating part moving up and down according to fuel levels, and a fixed plate; and calculates a fuel level using the measured capacitance. According to the present invention, not only the fuel level can be measured using the same variable capacitance part irrespective of the shape or volume of a fuel container but also malfunction in measuring the fuel level, which is induced by poor contact, oxidation of parts, or corrosion in an existing contact fuel level measuring device, can be prevented by measuring the fuel level via a non-contact method.
