    • A refrigerator is provided to facilitate draining of defrosted water of a fan and to prevent inconsistent distribution of temperature within a cooling chamber with a simplified cover structure, thereby achieving equal distribution of temperature on each portion within the cooling chamber. A refrigerator comprises a body unit(100), a cooling chamber(200), a cool air supply chamber(300), a fan(500), and a cover(400). The cooling chamber is defined within the body unit. The cool air supply chamber is provided with a cooler(310) which generates cool air supplied to the cooling chamber. The fan discharges the air generated from the cooler to the cooling chamber. The cover defines the cooling chamber and the cool air supply chamber, having the fan on its one side. The cover includes an incline(420) wherein a fan-mounted portion is inclined forwards by a predetermined angle and a guide(430) is installed on a lower side of the incline to control discharge of cool air and guide draining of defrosted water of the fan, thereby ensuring equal distribution of cool air discharged from the fan over the entire cooling chamber and facilitated draining of defrosted water.

The air guide guides the cold air carried to the vertical direction of the cold air generating chamber with the cooling fan to the entrance of the guidance duct communicated with the storage room of the main body. The entrance of the guidance duct is formed in one end of the cold air generating chamber which is escaped from the installation area of the cooling fan toward the gravity direction in order to prevent the inflow of the defrost water created in the cooling fan.
