    • PURPOSE: A refrigerator defroster is provided to prevent an increase in the temperature of a refrigerator, and to reduce energy consumption by reducing the use of a defrost heater. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator defroster comprises a defrost heater(10), a defrosted water drain(20), a defrosted water collecting pipe(30), a defrosted water chamber(40), and a defrost pipe(50). The defrost heater heats an evaporator(1). The defrosted water drain is placed under the evaporator, and collects defrosted water. One end of the defrosted water collecting pipe is connected to the lower part of the defrosted water drain, and the other end is placed above a compressor. The defrosted water chamber comprise the compressor inside, and holds the defrosted water discharged from a hose. One end of the defrost pipe is connected to the defrosted water chamber, and the other end faces the evaporator. The defrosted water chamber wraps the peripheral part of the compressor, the upper part is connected to the defrosted water collecting pipe, and the lower part is connected to the defrost pipe.

A radiating and evaporating apparatus for a machinery room in a refrigerator comprises a defrosted water receiving member(500) disposed on the bottom of a cooling fan(300) and a coil condenser(400) and an evaporating turbine(600). The defrosted water receiving member receives defrosted water discharged from an evaporator(100) during defrosting work. The evaporating turbine simultaneously cools a compressor(200) and evaporates the defrosted water through evacuating the defrosted water contained within the defrosted water receiving member. The evaporating turbine is operated by the force of the wind generated from the cooling fan.
