摘要： PURPOSE: The oil seal of a shock absorber is provided to improve clamping force with respect to a lip unit in case of temperature reduction using a clamping force compensating unit based on bimetal. CONSTITUTION: The oil seal of a shock absorber(100) is composed of a rubber-based lip unit(110), a reinforcing washer(120), a clamping force reinforcing unit(150). The lip unit is directly arranged to the outer circumference of a piston rod(130). The lip unit applies clamping force in a vertical direction and an axial direction to the piston rod. The reinforcing washer maintains the shape of the lip unit. The clamping force compensating unit prevents the contact area reduction of the lip unit and the piston rod.
