CONSTITUTION: A C-shaped stop ring(320) is inserted into grooves(312) formed at both sides of a block of a linear motion guide, in such a manner that the C-shaped stop ring prevents movement or rotation of a ball bushing(330) which is arranged in an axial direction within the block of the linear motion guide and has two open surfaces(332). The C-shaped stop ring includes a contact section(321) having a thickness permitting insertion into grooves formed at the block, and a width permitting protrusion from the inner surface of the block, wherein the contact section tightly contacts an end surface of the ball bushing; and stop sections(322) formed by bending both ends of the contact section in a thickness-wise direction, which partially contact the open surface of the ball bushing and the block.

    • PURPOSE: A bearing assembly and a spindle motor including the same are provided to prevent damage to components even though the components are in contact with each other by external impact, thereby maximizing the performance and the lifetime. CONSTITUTION: A bearing assembly (100) includes a sleeve (120), a thrust plate (130), a cap member (140), and a rotation center providing unit. The sleeve supports a shaft (100) to be rotated by a medium of oil. The thrust plate is fixed to the shaft to be arranged on the upper side of the sleeve. The cap member, which is arranged on the upper side of the thrust plate, makes an interface of the oil between the trust plate and the cap member and is fixed to the sleeve. The rotation center providing unit is formed to be recessed on the top surface of the cap member in order to provide the rotation center of deformation in case of the deformation of the cap member caused by external impact.
