An orbital radius alteration tool moves the movable member in a first direction to decrease the orbital radius of the cylindrical pin with respect to the circular hole to decrease the orbital radius of the movable scroll when the rotation velocity of the rotating shaft increases, and moves the movable member in a second direction to increase the orbital radius of the cylindrical pin with respect to the circular hole to increase the orbital radius of movable scroll when the rotation velocity of the rotating shaft decreases.
