    • PURPOSE: An emergency start safety system of the diesel engine is provided to block compressed air, which passes through a pinion air supply pipe, by means of an on-off valve at the time of the serving of vehicle, and then make a start pinion to be separated from a gear rim, such that a start motor is not operated, thereby blocking the starting of diesel engine. CONSTITUTION: An emergency start safety system of the diesel engine includes an on-off valve (12). If an engine start signal is given, a solenoid valve opens a pinion air supply pipe and the compressed air makes the start pinion contact with the gear rim of fly wheel, such that the on-off valve controls the driving of air start motor. If an emergency driving valve (5) is pressed at the time of the serving of engine, and the pinion of turning gear contacts with the gear rim of the fly wheel, the on-off valve blocks the compressed air, which passes through the pinion air supply pipe, and makes the start pinion to be separated from the gear rim, such that the start motor is not operated.

    • PURPOSE: An engine start stabilization method of a hybrid system is provided to rapidly convert, an engine start that uses an HSG(Hybrid Starter & Generator) which is connected through a belt to an engine, into the engine start that uses a drive motor when the belt slip of the HSG occurs during the engine start that uses the HSG, thereby having an effect in stopping the progress of the belt slip of the HSG quickly. CONSTITUTION: An engine start stabilization method of a hybrid system is composed of the following steps. The HSG-engine start attempting step is to use a HSG belt of attempt to start an engine. The HSG belt slip recognition step is to determine whether the slip of the HSG belt is in the state of high danger or not after the suitability of an RPM(Revolution Per Minute) setup condition, and the suitability of an HSG RPM setup condition and of a CRK RPM(crank shaft Revolution Per Minute) setup condition are checked.
