    • PURPOSE: A diesel particulate filter (DPF) cover assembly for the construction machine is provided to include a sub-cover supplementing the gap formed between a main cover hall and a tailpipe, and to block the flux of foreign material into the gap formed between a main cover and a tailpipe. CONSTITUTION: A DPF cover assembly for the construction equipment includes a DPF (10), a main cover (20), and a sub-cover (30). The DPF is connected with a tailpipe (14) which has a curved inclination part. The main cover covers at least one surface of the DPF, includes a main cover hall, which has an elongated hole shape and is provided so as to penetrate the tailpipe. The sub-cover is mounted on the main cover hole and includes a sub-cover hall (32) which is provided so as to penetrate the tailpipe. The sub cover supplements the gap formed between the main cover hole and the tail pipe.

    • PURPOSE: A vehicular catalyst converter assembly is provided to prevent the vibration of exhaust gas or a vehicle body from being directly delivered to a heat shield by installing the heat shield into a non-contact type structure on the outer circumference of a catalytic converter using a wire mesh. CONSTITUTION: A vehicular catalyst converter assembly comprises an insulation and vibration protection member. The insulation and vibration protection member is equipped in between a catalytic converter(20) and a heat shield(30) for separating the catalytic converter and heat shield and preventing the heat and vibration of the catalytic converter from being delivered to the heat shield. The ends of the heat shield and the catalytic converter are joined to each other through a joint member by interposing the insulation and vibration protection member in between the catalytic converter and heat shield. The insulation and vibration protection member is made of a wire mesh(40).

The tubular mounting mat(11) for a catalytic converter has no weld line. The tubular mounting mat for a catalytic converter has the following physical properties: When there is no compressing, the thickness is 10-50 mm and the bulk density is 0.01-0.8 g/cm^3. When there is compressing at 10-1000 kPa pressure, the thickness is 1-49 mm and the tightening density is 0.1-1.2 g/cm^3.
